I didn’t return back to Celine’s ward where she was still with Angela

After hearing the result of the test, my spirit was completely broken. It was like my soul was forced out of my body

I didn’t even bother returning to school and went back home like a lifeless doll

Luckily for me, my mom was the only one at home, dad was still at work

She immediately paused the movie she was watching when she saw me coming

“Honey, school isn’t over yet, why are you home?”

I was almost moved to tears at the sound of her voice
