Rough Around the Edges

Wyoming did not know how long it took for Cayden’s driver to get them to the hospital.

Her eyes were closed as she struggled with her breathing. But she could hear voices - the loudest of them all came from her new husband, Cayden Ellish.

He was barking orders at whoever while she was being wheeled inside.

The medics soon put her on oxygen.

She hurriedly breathed through the cannula. Then they injected something into her arm with Cayden's worried face looming before her.

That scene was the last thing she remembered before she passed out.

When she becomes conscious again, she finds herself lying in bed inside an ivory room, which feels very calming to the eyes.

She bolted upright in confusion.

The last thing she remembered was Cayden brought her to the hospital, and they were trying to administer relief for her sudden asthma attack.

“I am glad you are okay. You gave me quite a scare back there.” Someone spoke. A man’s voice.

Wyoming abruptly spun her head to her left and sa
