Chapter 4

Delano hug up the call and turned to look at Logan.

"It was Madame Virginia just now" He reported.

"Anything?" Logan asked him.

"Miss Amelia escaped" Delano reported exactly what he was told.

"Escaped? I underestimated the other personality" Logan muttered with a faint smile.

"Should we go after her?" Delano asked him packing up the file that lay around the office.

"There is no need to do that, She will come to us on her own. I want to know what she has up her sleeve" He smiled Slightly and stood up.

Suddenly he really looked forward to tonight's mission and see how she is going to change a thing with that her.

"Let's go! I have another person to teach a lesson" Logan glanced at Delano before walking out of the office.

Using the special elevator, they left the company and got into the car that was waiting right at the entrance.

"The crew?" Mr. Logan Gunner asked.

"They've sent off first to the destination" Delano replied as the phone in his pocket rang.

"Is from Mr. Kim" He glanced at the caller and reported to the Godfather.

"They are more anxious than I thought, Shouldn't they already have everything planned out?" Logan didn't care about the call but Delano still connected.

"Mr. Kim" 

"Can I speak with the Godfather?" The Anxious voice sounded from the other side.

"You should know that you are in no place to speak to him" Delano responded.

~~"Please, I know what I did was wrong and I really want to apologize. Can he please not target my company, I spent my whole life building it to this extent," 

"What was requested from you wasn't much to fulfill but you decided to take it for granted. It's too late" After speaking Delano hung up.

"Godfather, Do you think he really called to change his mind?" Delano asked.

"No, He called to know our position. He knows that he will die no matter how much he plans so he just wanted a way out even if we die under his own plan" Leaning on the cozy and luxury car sofa with his eyes closed Logan explained in a lazy tone not at all surprised by the decision he made.

Lia stood behind the wall and looked into the garage, "It should be in the company that they died right?" She looked at the place and muttered to herself.

"Aish!! Why did I even come here in the first place" She squatted at a spot waiting for the others to come over.

"Enjoying the view?" A voice startled her causing her to fall to the floor.

"Mr. Logan?" Lia looked at the upcoming person abd dusted her butt.

"She allowed you to come?" Logan looked at the new wife or soon to be wife that glared at him.

"Do I need to take permission from her before I do what I want to do?" Lia rolled her eyes and continues looking at a dustsbde forgetting what she was waiting for in the first place.

"Godfather, The Bombs have been dismantled we can now make our way in" Delano came over to their side and reported to him.

"Just burn the whole place down, Nothing belonging to the Kims should escape the fire." Logan ordered and glanced at the girl that raised her head and also looked at him.

Delano glanced at the two and stepped out

"I guess that there is no reason for me to be here" Lia stood up and smiled awkwardly at him and made to move but the tall figure stood in front of her not letting her pass.

"Mr. Logan?"

"Do you know what happens to those that are nosy?" Logan looked down on her with a trace of evil.

"You should have do this, In a way I saved your life" Lia felt her confidence being trampled on.

If she knew she should have just listened to Amelia and not save his dumbass.

"That's even more reason why you should die, You see things you are not supposed to see" Logan kept on going closer while Lia kept on taking a step back until her back hit a wall which showed a dead end.

"You are not serious!"

"Do you want to see if I'm serious or not?!" Logan Gunner placed his hand on her chin and lifted her face up.

"Twice! You've provoked me today! I've never had that much patience before!" His hot breathe sprayed on her neck.

Slowly his hands moved her chin to her neck tightening the hold on it.

Logan Gunner suddenly felt something wet on his hand, he raised hjs head to look at her face only to see that she was crying with her eyes closed.

"Open your eyes!" He ordered in a cold tone.

Slowly the eyes full of tears and timidity looked at him as if accusing him of bullying her.

"She knows the right time to escape" Logan sneered but didn't let go of Amelia.

"But that doesn't mean you will live, Killing you is just the same" Logan looked at the girl who tears kept falling from her eyes as if she is not the one that just challenged me.

Amelia bent her head until she finally muster up courage and looked at him.

Blinking her eyes slightly she hesitated to speak.

"A crying cat and a little wild cat, That's a perfect combination" 

"Can you kill me later" Amelia spoke in a voice that was barely audible, even someone who is really close to her might not be able to hear it.

But unexpectedly Logan Gunner did, "kill you later?" He raised his brows and the grip around her neck increased.

"We will die" Amelia bent her head again and whispered.

His eyes moved slightly"The danger hasn't been lifted?"

"Let everyone leave the company and move back to a safe area" Logan pressed a button in his ear pod and ordered.

Glancing at her one last time, He walked out leaving Amelia standing there dazed not knowing whether to follow him or not.

"Not coming?" Logan Gunner turned his head and asked after seeing that she was not following.

Biting her lips, Amelia ran over and held a piece of his suit tightly without letting go.

"Very bold of someone who fears me" He scoffed and walked forward in normal Strides while Amelia ran to catch up with him and not let go of his clothes.

Logan noticed her struggle and didn't bother slowing down ,he didn't hesitate to satirize her, "I'm sure you don't want the both of us to die here" 

They finally got to a safe place and saw Delano that was waiting in front of the door.

"Godfather?" Delano called and glanced at Amelia that was right behind him.

"Let's go" Logan said and got into the car as Amelia stood out and didn't know what to do.

"Get in" Logan looked at her clueless face and Ordered.

"Uhmm" She nodded her head and got into the car sitting down right next to him.

Just as the car drove out of the area, The whole company bombed and went up into flames.

"Did you find it?" Logan asked Delano.

"Yes, Someone from the organization went astray" Delano replied while Logan chuckled.

"It turned out to be a stray dog" Logan crossed his legs and leaned back on the soft car sofa

"What do you think we should do to a stray Dog?" He asked without looking at anyone at all.

"Make the disappear from the face of the earth" Delano replied but Logan shook his head.

"Not you, Her" He cocked his head and glanced at Amelia that hurdled herself to a corner.

Noticing his eyes, Amelia looked up at him, "Huh?" 

"What do you think should be done to a stray dog that is disobedient?" Logan asked again.

"Eat it" Amelia blinked her eyes and replied innocently.

"Eat it? That's one interesting choice. What if it's dirty and not eatable?" Logan looked at her.

"Throw it away" Amelia bit her lips and replied after a slight pause.

"Why not kill it?" He leaned towards her and looked at her directly while Amelia shrank even further

"Blood is smelly" She whispered to herself and to him as well.

"Well, you are right" He brushed the hair out of her face.

"The Car!" Amelia eyes shrank and the next moment a huge collision hit them from behind overturning the car!
