Chapter 5

Opening her eyes again, Amelia looked at the white ceiling as the smell of disinfectant was all over the house.

"Miss Amelia? You are finally awake" A nurse who was holding a towel said what the excitement.

Amelia looked at her strangely but before she could say a word, The Nurse ran out of the room closing the door right behind her.

"You guys are here" The Nurse looked at the guards that stood at the door.

"What is it?" They two guards turned and asked her.

"She is awake" She reported to the guards.

"I will send the news over to the Godfather, Go back inside" One of the Guards replied coldly while tye nurse returned to the room.

Just as she left the Guard picked up the phone to make a call.

"Anything?" A cold voice from the other side replied.

"Please let the godfather know that Miss Amelia is awake" The Guards reported and the call was hung up by the other person.

"From the Hospital?" Logan Gunner asked while closing the file that is in front of him.

Delano returned the phone to his pocket and says, "Miss Amelia is awake" Hearing what he just said, Logan raised his brows.

He stood up with a sneer on his lips,"She looked like someone that would die without the help of oxygen, I wonder how she survived that long" 

"Are we going to the hospital?" Delano walked behind him as they left the office.

"If I don't see my nominal wife what else am I supposed to do?" He turned the ring in his finger and muttered.

"Then I will ask the guards to prepare the car" Delano replied vocally.

"Is Mr. Kim still alive?" Logan suddenly asked.

"We tortured him as you ordered, as for his family... We sent the daughter and the wife out of the country, They are supposed to be leaving by now" Delano reported everything to him.

Just as they got to the parking lot, A figure can be seen running towards Logan Gunner and Delano Gunner but before she could get closer several other guards stood in front of her and held her from going any further.

"YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A BEAST! MY DAD DID NOTHIN WRONG! HE JUST WANTED TO GET RID OF A MONSTER LIKE YOU THAT IS NOT SUPPOSED TO EXIST IN THIS WORLD!" The lady that was held back yelled out hysterically.

Her hair was disheveled and her dress weren't tided up either, coupled with the fact that the guards held her down, She looked more like a mad person.

"That's Mr. Kim's daughter, She must have escaped from the airport" Delano whispered to Logan.

"Oh... Send her back" Logan raised his eyes slightly and didn't care about what the girl has just said to him.

"No! I will avenge the death of my father! It is a promise!" She yelled as Logan stopped on his steps.

"You are free. But now! I can kill you with just a wave of my hands" He sneered lightly and walked away leaving her standing there petrified.

"Let's go!" The Guards dragged her out to avoid her causing anymore problems.

They drove back and got to the airport, Mrs. Kim who was pacing around at the waiting area saw her daughter being dragged back.

"Where the hell did you go to?!" Mrs. Kim walker over to her in huge strides and asked with frowned brows.

"Mom~~" The young girl hugged her mother with tears in her eyes.

"Nora what did you do?!" Mrs. Kim asked and raised her eyes to ask her daughter.

"Mrs. Kim should watch over her and didn't let her cause another trouble because next time she won't live to testify. Mr. Logan gave the both of you abd chance to start afresh, don't misuse it!" The Guard looked at them and warned sternly.

"You went to him?" Mrs. Kim looked at her daughter in shock.

"I just want to avenge father" Aggrieved Nora muttered not wanting to raise her head and look at her mother.

"Why would you even think about that?! We are lucky that we are still alive. It is your father that did something wrong and he paid for it!" Mrs. Kim shook her head with a sigh.

Crying she hugged her mother tightly and says with a choked voice, "Mom... He killed my father!" 

"That's because your father did something wrong" Mrs. Kim cleaned her tears trying to act strong, "So please don't provoke him, His beloved one is in the hospital unconscious just because of what your father did, He is going through pain but he still manages yo let us go. So please, Avenging your father is the most useless thing to do" Mrs. Kim tried to convince her only daughter to stop her from taking the same part that her husband took.

"So let's go and start a new life ok" She looked at Nora with an reassuring smile.

"Ok" Nora nodded just in time as the plane announced that they are ready for departure.

"Please, send my sincere apologies and greetings to Mr. Logan Gunner" Mrs. Kim bowed for the last time and walked to into the lodging with Nora.

Opening the ward door, Logan Gunner stepped in and stood aside as she watched the doctor attending to Amelia who has not yet noticed his presence.

The Nurse turned and saw the person that was there, without further Ado she left the room.

"How is she?" Logan asked the doctor who glanced at him lightly with a playful smile.

"Her Vitals are ok but we will run a few more test to be sure" The Doctor replied.

"Brother?" Amelia who has always been silent since she wond up suddenly spoke.

"Is she calling you?" The Doctor turned and asked Logan.

"Brother?" Logan looked at the girl who returned his look with a clear deer eyes.

It as not the eyes that was afraid of him,and it was not the eyes that provoked him too.

This one was full of innocence, "Are you not my brother?" Amelia raised her eyes and asked.

"Miss, Do you know your name?" The Doctor glanced at Logan and looked back at Amelia.

"Name? She looked up confused before turning to Logan, "Brother what's my name?" 

"Amelia" Logan replied before he realized it.

"My name is Amelia" She turned to the doctor and replied his question.

"Can you remember anything at all?" 

"No"

"Continue with your rest, I will talk to your brother outside" The Doctor said and together with Logan they left the hospital room.

"First of all, What's her relationship with you?" With a playful smile on his face, The Doctor asked Logan who only glanced at him coldly.

He had a cold smile as he replied "Sixtus, Seems like you don't like your peaceful life" 

Rolling his eyes at how boring he is, he slowly reported Amelia's situation "Ok. I think your 'Sister' has Amnesia but we will confirm if there is a damage to her brain after a comprehensive test"

"But until then, maybe you will have to look after your sister"

"Brother!" A familiar Voice came from behind them
