Chapter 175

I knocked twice on the door of Kairos's office on the first floor of the mansion. I caught him standing with his back facing the door. One of his hands was on his waist and the other was holding his phone.

He gave me his weak smile and gestured for me to come near him. I held my breath and tried to smile before I walked closer to him.

"You didn't sleep last night." I said to him. He wrapped me in his arms possessively. One of his hands touches my waist. Kairos seated himself on the table top and me on the other hand remained standing.

He shrugged his shoulders and put a few strands of my hair at the back of my ear. "I needed to fix things for your flight and the place you'll be staying at." He murmured. He rested his chin on my shoulder. I closed my eyes when his hot breath hit my neck that made the hair around my neck stand up.

My hand started playing with the strands of his hair who are now longer than his usual hair cut.

"Do we really have to leave?" I asked in a low
