Right under his nose

Lucas stood at the entrance as he watched the cleaner leave. Earlier, he had overheard her conversation with someone on the phone, and from what he heard he was sure it was something related to him.

He had heard her say she was going to meet the person at a club at 8 pm, and anxiety settled in his heart as he suspected that was where she was headed.

He discreetly trailed her from behind unknowingly as she boarded a bus, a sense of uneasiness settled in his chest as to what he would find out about her because he knew she was hiding something.

She came down at the bus stop, and he watched her closely as she walked down the busy streets filled with lights, while he drove in the shadows to avoid her noticing him. His mind was filled with mixed feelings, he didn't know what he was doing, but he could not miss the opportunity to satisfy his curiosity.

As she got to the entrance of the club, Lucas's eyes widened with recognition, it was the same club he met the stripper, and that intensified
