Eve stepped out of the bathroom to find Lydia Crane waiting in front of a running sink, her perfect figure reflecting in the mirrors which surrounded the stall.

There was no second guessing that her husband's mistress had come to give her a piece of her mind.

And Lydia didn't waste time making her intentions clear.

"Are you done putting a show, Ms. Goody Two Shoes?"

Eve wondered if Lydia and Bella had been sisters in their past lives or something.

The two had a way of reenacting some teenage movie where they were the bad bitches.

"Hello to you too, Lydia. Sorry about your loss."

Eve said instead, and turned on the tap in front of her, eager to be out of Lydia's sight.

But she had just put her palms under the running water when small elegant fingers reached out and turned it off.

"What's the use of washing it when your soul stinks? Just like your hole which has been all over the place."

Eve sucked in a deep breath and counted to ten, her shoulders stiffened in determination.
