TEN YEARS AGO

 Twenty year old Ethan stretched as he sat up straight on his chair. He was in the library at the University working on his assignments. Feeling thirsty he took the bottle on the desk and drank some water.

“Wow… he’s so hot.” He could hear some fangirls whispering as they watched his Adam's apple bob as he drank the water.

He smirked cockily knowing too well that girls loved his god-like looks. The attention he got was thrilling but that was all. He was never tempted to indulge himself. His father’s empire was waiting for him to inherit. There was no time to be playful or have fun with girls when he had to prove himself worthy of the inheritance. That was the weight of the crown he bore. It meant there was no social life for him.

‘No one is your friend, son. Keep that in mind.’ His father would say almost every night.

Ethan was only allowed to have one friend, Lucas. That was because they were the ‘same’
