21~ Guilt

Amelia paced back and forth while biting her nails. She had been overly anxious since Ethan was hospitalized. Now they were back home and he had gone straight to his study with his assistant to talk about work since he would be off for two days.

Never in her life had she ever felt that guilty. She remembered how harshly she treated Ethan and it made her feel like she was a bad person. She didn't know he was suffering from mental issues. Heck, she just thought he was a billionaire who thought he had the world in the grasp of his hand and could get whatever he wanted.

Amelia didn't want to satiate his ego that's why she often let him know his place. She just thought he was controlling when he kept following her around. Little did she know that he just wanted to live like a normal person and move around a crowd.

After listening to how he got the trauma and how she was the only one he could get close to, she believed they could work together to overcome it. At least while she was stil
