Chapter 9

The next few days were quite peaceful for Lavender until she started wondering what had come over the bullies. Had they finally seen sense and noticed that they have been going overboard?

They did not take her money nor did they force her to make them dinner or do the laundry. Lavender could not ask for too much and really enjoyed the few peaceful days she had.  

She did not think too much about it and continued to go to work as usual. Her uncle was even gracious enough to give her the keys to the house.

It was not until this particular day that Lavender came back from work, found her grandfather lying on the cold floor that she realised the people she thought had changed were only putting on a facade.  

"What is going on here?" She asked as she went to her grandfather.   

"What is going on here? Can't you see I have been fade up with the two for a long time and I want you to leave my house this instant." Janet said, holding her
