Several days passed and everything gradually returned to normal, Emma's hand was almost healed and all that was left was a rubber plaster over the cut.

Lucas stared out the floor-to-ceiling windows of his office, eyes trained on nothing in particular, he’d spent most of his time in his office looking out through those windows, he just seemed to think better when he was staring out at nothingness,
