Ray had just finished his cigar when I brought the necklace back to the desk. I stared at it again, heart racing.

Something wasn’t right.

I ran another full scan not just for signals, but for data.

And that’s when I saw it.

A buried code. Hidden deep, buried behind a false microchip signature. It wasn’t just a tracker. There was a message inside.

Ray leaned over. “What’s that?”

I typed quickly, overriding the encryption. The words unfolded on the screen, pixel by pixel.

> “If you're reading this, it means I failed. Protect her. They're not after me anymore. They’re after my daughter. Don’t trust the blood that rises with power. It will choose itself over you.”

I froze.

Ray looked at me, stunned. “Wait… is this from…?”

“Yes,” I whispered. “It’s from Evelyn’s father.”

He had left a message inside the necklace. He knew something. He saw this coming.

And that last line...

> Don’t trust the blood that rises with power.

That wasn’t just a warning. It was a clue. A code.

Ray caught it too. “

Sean sat in his office, staring at his computer screen, but his mind was somewhere else. His phone buzzed again. It was the fifth notification in two minutes. At first, he ignored it. He had bigger things to focus on.Ethan. Evelyn. The code message. Ray’s strange silence. But then the sixth notification popped up, flashing with Jessica’s name.He frowned and clicked it.It opened to Jessica’s Instagram post.Sean leaned forward slowly, his eyes scanning the photo. A five-star suite. Roses. Candles. A giant heart made with flower petals on the bed. Soft golden lights. And then her caption:“He did it again #spoiled #mylove #private celebration"His jaw tightened. He scrolled to the next slide. A video now. Jessica laughing in front of the mirror. The camera slowly panned across the room as she giggled, “Can you believe he did all this for me?”Sean stood up so fast, his chair rolled back and hit the cabinet behind him.He felt the anger rising in his chest, slow but deadly. He didn’t

  • The Billionaire’s Untamed Possession   The Perfect Lie

I stood at the center of the hotel suite, spinning slowly with a huge smile on my face. The room looked magical. Rose petals on the bed. Scented candles on the side table. A big heart made of red flowers on the wall. The champagne was already chilling in the ice bucket, and soft love music played in the background.Everything was exactly how I planned it.It looked expensive. Romantic. Beautiful. Just like how a cold-hearted CEO would secretly surprise his special girl. I imagined everyone’s shocked faces when they saw it.I checked myself in the mirror. My red satin dress hugged my curves perfectly. My hair was done in soft waves, my makeup flawless. I looked hot and classy at the same time.“This is it,” I whispered to myself. “Tonight, everyone will know I’m the one Sean loves.”I took out my phone and began snapping pictures. One with the heart-shaped petals on the bed. One standing by the champagne. Another leaning on the balcony, showing off the beautiful city lights behind me.

  • The Billionaire’s Untamed Possession   Jessica's POV

I stood near the glass window of the office hallway, arms crossed, heels tapping softly against the marble floor. The weather was dull outside just like Sean’s mood lately. He wasn’t the same anymore. Not since Evelyn disappeared.Every day, I watched him walk past me like I was invisible. His eyes were tired. His voice was quiet. He barely even looked at anyone. But I saw him. I always saw him.And I knew one thing for sure...He wasn’t worried about work. He wasn’t upset about deals. He was thinking about her. That girl Evelyn.Just the thought of her made my jaw tighten. She had come out of nowhere and suddenly everything in his world started to change. He smiled more when she was around. He listened to her ideas. He even stood up for her in front of the board. But now she is gone. And he was... broken.Good. Maybe now he’ll see who was really there for him all along.I walked toward his office slowly, peeking through the slightly open door. He was on the phone again talking to som

  • The Billionaire’s Untamed Possession   Grandfather POV

The ticking of the old grandfather clock echoed through the Rosemond estate study. I sat in my armchair, a cup of untouched tea cooling beside me. Outside, the rain had returned, tapping against the tall windows like a warning from nature itself.I had been through storms before political ones, corporate ones, even bloody ones. But this... this is different.“She’s disappeared,” my assistant Pierre said gently, standing just a few feet away. “Evelyn. The girl.”I nodded, not looking at him. “With Ethan?”“Yes, sir. That’s what the latest report confirms. They vanished three nights ago. No official trace. No phone records. No surveillance logs.”“And Sean?” I asked, my voice quieter than usual.“He’s growing desperate. Hired Detective Ray. Made a few calls to some of his old connections. Even contacted a man from Spain. He’s serious.”I leaned back, fingers folded under my chin. “I knew this day would come... I just hoped it wouldn’t be her.”Pierre hesitated. “Sir?”I looked up at him

  • The Billionaire’s Untamed Possession   Sean's POV

The room was dim, filled with smoke and softclicking sounds from the computer keyboards. The gang leader known only as Renoir in the underworld stood with his back to the screen, hands folded behind him, watching the large monitor on the wall.On it, the paused image of Evelyn’s mother lying weak in the hospital bed was frozen mid-frame.“She’s still alive,” one of the men muttered behind him.“She won’t be for long if we push the right buttons,” another laughed.Renoir turned slowly, his face calm but cold. “Not yet.”The room fell silent at his voice.Renoir moved closer to the screen, his eyes narrowing. “This girl... Evelyn... she’s more useful alive. She’s the perfect weapon. Sharp, innocent, and easy to manipulate.”He flicked the remote, and a new screen popped up live feed from outside Ethan’s safehouse.“They think they’ve hidden her well,” he said with a smirk. “But even the strongest walls can crack when you apply the right pressure.”The youngest member of the gang, Leo,

  • The Billionaire’s Untamed Possession   Ethan POV

The cold air inside the safehouse felt heavier today. Not because of the weather but because of the silence. A silence that wasn’t peaceful anymore. It felt like a pause before something big.I stood by the kitchen counter, staring at the half-made coffee that I’d forgotten to finish. My mind was somewhere else. On the message I just got.Not from a stranger. Not from the system. From him.Sean.Or at least… someone pretending to be him.But I knew Sean too well. If this was really him, he’d have found us already. He wasn’t the kind of man to wait around. That video they sent me? The one showing him tied up, bloodied, groaning in pain?Fake.I zoomed in, enhanced the voice, checked the background lights, the sound delay, even the way he moved his hand. Too slow. Too awkward.Sean didn’t get caught that easily. No chance. But that meant one thing someone wanted us to believe he had been caught. Someone was trying to distract me… or maybe scare Evelyn.Either way, I wasn’t going to fall
