The days following her departure from the penthouse, Trinity decided to get busy. 

When you were busy, you didn't have time to overthink, or think for that matter. When you worked hard, you were too tired to do anything but sleep at night, barring any and all unwelcome thoughts without much effort. 

And that's exactly what Trinity had been doing for the past twenty eight days. She'd gotten her old job back as a waitress at Jimmy's despite heavy protests from Casey. But since the woman herself was confined to the apartment, there wasn't much she could do but grumble about how much of an idiot Trinity was. When she wasn't working at the restaurant, she was either at Simon's, helping him out or at home baking something to take for the kids at the orphanage or at the orphanage helping with whatever she could. When she wasn't doing any of that, she spent her time studying for her course.
