Chapter Fifteen

I was feeling a bit lightheaded from the drink I had earlier and somewhat fatigued from the day's events. My mind was preoccupied with the question of why she was in Bellaris country and whom she knew there while I was seated in the jet.

Not having received many details from Victoria earlier, but I didn't bother to ask. I was content with knowing her location and intended to gather the rest of the information from her myself.

Upon arriving at Bellaris country, I headed to the Williams hotel where Victoria had informed me Sophie was staying. It was a hotel managed by our company. As I entered, the staff were taken aback to see me and started bowing their heads to greet me. I paid them no heed as my sole purpose there was the "small trouble" currently in the hotel.

I could see the General Manager rushing towards me to welcome me, and I inquired about Sophie. I didn't need to say much as they were all aware she was my wife, and they had been strictly instructed to keep it confidential,
