Both Rose and Greg were surprised. As I was about to continue what I was saying, Greg ordered me out.

" Get out" Greg ordered

" I'm not going anywhere" I replied

" Sophie, you're testing my patience, I said get out!" He shouted

" Get out? And she stays? No way I'm going anywhere when she's here" I replied

Greg became quiet.

" Rose, let's Go" Greg said taking his car keys from the table

I immediately blocked his way to stop him from leaving.

" Where do you think you're going?" I asked with my voice laced with anger

Without replying, Greg pushed me out of his way. He held Rose's hand and they both walked out.

I ran after him and shouted

" If you leave with her, this would be the last time you'd see me in this house!" I retorted angrily

Greg stopped walking for a while, he turned to look at me and scoffed

" Suit yourself" he said and they both left.

I was speechless. He chose Rose at the end. Why am I still here? What's the essence of this sham called Marriage?
