"The difficulty her children had in speaking, but their determination, made Victória laugh with happiness. She got out of bed, picked up the two children, and headed toward the living room of the small apartment.

Valentina was in the living room preparing breakfast when she saw Victória coming out of the bedroom carrying the two children.

'Come, let me take them,' Valentina said, walking toward her. 'Go get ready for work; I’ll keep an eye on them!'

Victória nodded and went to take a shower. Afterward, she picked up the children and sat on the couch, giving them breakfast first.

The two children were one year old, and Victória knew that now, as she was working daily, she would eventually have to wean them and replace breast milk with formula. She also realized she’d have less time to pump at work when she wasn’t at home.

However, she was facing a dilemma because the children's immunity could decrease, making them prone to getting sick.
