VIOLET’S POV

The car was speeding through the dark streets like a bullet. The world outside was just a blur of lights and shadows, but inside the vehicle, everything felt heavy and suffocating.

I was still trembling, my body shaking uncontrollably from the shock. The sound of that gunshot was still ringing in my ears. The image of that man pointing a gun at us… it was terrifying.

Damien held me tightly in his arms, not letting go even for a second. His hand was rubbing my back soothingly, but I could feel how tense his muscles were. He was angry. Furious. And scared.

“Breathe, Violet. Just breathe,” he whispered against my hair, kissing the top of my head repeatedly. “You’re safe now. I’ve got you. No one can hurt you here.”

I looked up at him, my eyes wet and red. “Damien… who were they? Why did they try to shoot you? This isn’t just business, is it?”

He stared at me, his dark eyes swirling with so many emotions—conflict, pain, fear, and love. He took a deep breath and wiped my tears with his thumb.

“No, Violet. It’s not just business,” he admitted slowly, his voice low and gravelly. “My family… we don’t just run companies. We have power. Real power. And with power comes enemies. People who want to destroy us.”

He held my face firmly, making me look at him directly.

“The man you saw tonight… he belongs to a rival organization. They have been trying to take down the Vane Empire for years. And tonight… they realized something very important.”

“What?” I whispered.

“They realized that I have a weakness,” he said bitterly. “They realized that I have a wife. And if they can’t kill me… they will hurt you to get to me.”

My heart stopped. “M-me? But I’m nobody. I’m just…”

“You are not nobody!” He cut me off sharply, his eyes intense. “You are my wife. You are the only person I care about in this world. That makes you the most important person alive. And that makes you a target.”

He pulled me closer, burying his face in the crook of my neck.

“I swore to protect you, Violet. But tonight… I almost failed. I almost lost you.” His voice cracked slightly. “Seeing that gun pointed at you… I felt like my world was ending.”

Hearing him say that made my own heart ache. All this time, I thought he was just cold and distant. But deep inside, he cared. He cared more than I ever imagined.

“I’m not going anywhere,” I said softly, placing my hand over his chest, feeling his fast heartbeat. “I’m right here. I’m safe.”

“You are safe because I am here,” he said firmly. “And I will kill anyone who tries to take you away from me.”

BACK AT THE MANSION

When we arrived at the mansion, the whole place was on high alert. There were more guards than usual, standing at every corner, holding weapons. The atmosphere was serious and tense.

As soon as we stepped inside, Damien didn’t let go of my hand. He dragged me straight towards the elevator and pressed the button for the top floor.

“Where are we going?” I asked.

“My room,” he said simply. “From tonight onwards, you are sleeping with me. No more separate rooms. No more distance. I need to have you close where I can see you and touch you every second.”

My face heated up. “B-but… the contract said separate rooms.”

“Forget the contract!” He looked at me, his eyes dark and possessive. “The contract is void. Everything changed tonight. You are mine, Violet. In every sense of the word. And you will stay by my side.”

The elevator door opened, and we walked into his private suite.

It was huge. Modern design, dark colors, and a massive window overlooking the city. But what caught my attention was the bed. It was huge, king-sized, covered in black silk sheets. It looked inviting and dangerous at the same time.

Damien walked to the bar and poured two glasses of whiskey. He handed one to me.

“Drink. It will calm your nerves.”

I took a small sip. The liquid burned my throat but warmed my body.

He walked towards me and stood very close. He reached out and started unzipping my dress slowly.

“D-Damien! What are you doing?!” I panicked, freezing in place.

“Relax,” he murmured, his voice husky. “I’m just getting you out of these clothes. You must be uncomfortable. And I want to see you… really see you.”

The zipper went down, and the dress fell to the floor, leaving me in my underwear. I wanted to cover myself, feeling shy and exposed, but Damien stopped my hands.

“Don’t,” he said softly. “You are beautiful. Perfect.”

He walked to the closet and took one of his big white shirts. He put it on me. It was so big it reached my mid-thigh, smelling entirely of him.

“There,” he smiled slightly. “Now you look like mine. Wearing my clothes. In my room.”

I blushed deeply, looking down. “You’re teasing me.”

“I’m not teasing,” he stepped closer, trapping me between his arms against the wall. “I’m claiming what’s rightfully mine.”

He leaned down and kissed me. Not rough this time, but slow, deep, and passionate. His lips moved against mine with so much tenderness it made my knees weak. I wrapped my arms around his neck, standing on my tiptoes to kiss him back.

His hands roamed my back, pulling me flush against his hard body. I could feel his warmth, his strength, and his heart beating wildly against mine.

“Violet,” he whispered against my lips. “Tell me to stop… and I will stop. Right now.”

I looked into his eyes, seeing the desire and the love there. I knew what I wanted. I knew who I wanted.

“Don’t stop,” I whispered, my voice trembling. “Please… don’t stop.”

That was all the permission he needed.

He picked me up effortlessly, carrying me towards the bed. He laid me down gently, hovering over me, never breaking eye contact.

“Tonight, I’m going to show you how much you mean to me,” he said softly. “Tonight… you become truly mine.”

"Ugh" I grunted as he suddenly marked my neck.

He moved his kiss to different parts of my neck while his one hand was busy holding my legs up and down he moved it inside my night dress until he touched my panties.

He grabbed the middle part of my womanhood and lifted it up so that I was losing my body because of what he was doing

"Ugh!!" I growled again as he swirled his two fingers around my pearl even though he hadn't removed my panties yet.

He let go of my hand and immediately went between my thighs, I was so hungry on my lips when he tore my panties and immediately plunged into my petchay.

"Ughhh~~ I growled again when he suddenly turned his tongue there, I grabbed his head and pressed it even more on my femininity

"FUCK!! UGGGHHH"

I didn't even moan when he put his two fingers inside my pearl and he quickly took his finger inside me

"Ugh!... Hmmmm... Ohhh.. "

I grunted as he inserted his other finger into my womanhood again

"Ugh!!. Faster demien !!ugh this is so fucking good ugh!!! "

It seems like I'm lost in myself growling because he's so good at this kind of thing you'll really go crazy.

He sped up going out and inside me even more and he sucked on my pearl so he was even more pressed by me as a woman to him.

"Ugh~~ i'm cumming damien faster hmmm!! Ugh.. Ohh.. Hmmmm"

I moaned hoarsely when I felt that I was about to come out, he immediately removed his three fingers from my womanhood, then he hardened his tongue and inserted it into my pearl, then he twisted it and quickly took it out and in.

"Ugh~~.. that's how hmmm it's so delicious!! ugh~~!! "

I growled when I felt his hot tongue inside my pearl that he was quickly taking out and entering

"I'm coming damien ughh~ohhhh... hmmmmmm~~!! "

I let out a long grunt of sleep, gasping for breath, I leaned over because I felt like I lost my own soul because of what we did

I thought that was the end of everything but it wasn't yet, he came over me again and grabbed me with a kiss down my neck towards my healthy mount, I immediately moaned when he grabbed my left mount and grabbed my right nipple

"Ugh.. Ohh fuck damien. Hmmmm!! "

I moaned madly as he licked it and played with his tongue, he immediately looked from my eyes down to my lips then he kissed it

"Ugh!!!"

I suddenly grunted as he suddenly inserted his pet into my pearl then quickly and one after the other came out

"Ughh fuck damien it's big"

I'm having a hard time because he didn't even notice that I was hurt by each of his clothes because of its excessive size. What the hell is he doing with his pet and it grew so fast?

"Ughhmmmm!!"

I growled. As time went on, each of his moans was getting more and more delicious. I wanted to hug him but I couldn't because he was holding both of my hands.

"Ugh.. Ohhh.. Hmmmm!!!! "

"Fuck!! Your so fucking tight baby ohhhh this is so damn good!!!! Ugh~~"

We moaned loudly, our moans filled this room loudly and we shouted our names every time he kissed me I'm so very happy and I moaned even more when I felt him hitting something inside me

"Fuck damien ugh!!! Faster please faster!!! "

"Ugh fuck baby your moans driving me crazy ughh~~!!!"

"Ughhh.. Ohhh. Hmmmmm"

"Ugh!!! It's about to come out, faster ugh~~"

"Ughh I'm Cumming!!!"

"Ugh~~"

"Ugh~~"

we grunted at the same time when we went out at the same time my body was so weak that I fell asleep EVERYTHING WENT BLACK

THE MORNING AFTER

Sunlight was streaming through the curtains when I woke up.

The first thing I felt was warmth. A heavy arm was draped over my waist, pulling me close against a hard, warm chest.

I opened my eyes slowly and turned my head.

Damien was sleeping beside me.

It was the first time I saw him without his mask. Without the coldness. Without the anger. He looked peaceful. His long lashes rested against his cheeks, his hair was messy, and his lips were slightly parted.

He looked so handsome it took my breath away.

Last night… everything happened so fast. From the party, the shooting, to us coming home and… making love.

I blushed just thinking about it. It was painful at first, but he was so gentle, so careful, making sure I felt good. It wasn’t just physical. It felt like our souls connected.

I reached out timidly and touched his face, tracing his jawline with my finger.

He stirred, his eyes fluttering open.

Those dark eyes found mine immediately. A lazy, sexy smile spread across his lips.

“Good morning, wife,” he murmured, his voice raspy and deep from sleep.

“Good morning,” I whispered shyly, trying to pull away but he tightened his arm around me, keeping me trapped against him.

“Where do you think you’re going?” He chuckled, pulling me on top of him so I was lying on his chest. “We’re not getting up yet.”

“B-but… people might see us,” I said nervously.

“Let them see,” he said arrogantly. “You are my wife. It’s normal for us to sleep together.”

He played with my hair, looking at me with so much affection.

“How are you feeling? Does it hurt anywhere?” He asked softly, concern in his eyes.

I shook my head, burying my face in his chest. “No… I’m okay.”

“Good,” he kissed the top of my head. “Because I don’t regret it, Violet. Not one bit. Even if things are dangerous now… I’m glad we did this.”

I looked up at him. “Damien… about what happened last night. Are we really in danger? Will they come back?”

His expression darkened slightly, the worry coming back.

“Yes. They will try again,” he said seriously. “Which is why I can’t let you out of my sight. Starting today, you have bodyguards with you 24/7. You don’t go anywhere alone. Not even to the garden.”

“I understand,” I nodded. “I’ll be careful.”

“And there’s something else,” he said, sitting up and pulling me with him. He looked me straight in the eye. “I need to tell you the whole truth about who I am. Because you deserve to know.”

THE TRUTH ABOUT DAMIEN

We sat on the edge of the bed, covered by the sheets. Damien took a deep breath and started talking.

“My family, the Vane family, we established our roots decades ago,” he began. “But not just through business. My grandfather built an empire that handles security, intelligence, and… let’s just say, things that the government can’t handle.”

He looked at me.

“We are like the guardians of the city. But to do that, we have to be strong. We have to be ruthless. That is why I act cold. That is why I built this image of being a monster. Because if people fear me, they won’t dare attack the people I love.”

“Elise…” I remembered. “What about her?”

Damien scoffed. “Elise was just a distraction. A long time ago, we had a thing, but it was never serious. She was just there because she was safe, and she understood the life. But then you came…”

He held my hand. “You came, and you were so pure, so kind, so different. You made me want to be a better man. You made me want to protect something good.”

“So you never loved her?” I asked, my heart beating fast.

“Never,” he said firmly. “I only loved you. Even when I was acting cold, even when I pushed you away… I was already falling for you. I was just scared. Scared that if I let you in, I would become weak.”

“And now?”

“And now,” he smiled sadly. “I am weak for you. Completely and utterly weak. And I don’t care anymore.”

He hugged me tightly.

“I love you, Violet. So much it scares me.”

Tears filled my eyes again, but this time they were happy tears.

“I love you too, Damien. I never stopped loving you.”

THE CONFRONTATION

Just as we were lost in our moment, there was a loud knock on the door.

“Sir! Mr. Damien! You are needed downstairs!” It was his assistant, Mark. His voice sounded urgent and panicked.

Damien frowned. “What is it?”

“Your grandfather is here, Sir. And… and the news is everywhere. The shooting last night was captured on video. Everyone is talking about it. And there’s someone else here who wants to see Mrs. Violet.”

We looked at each other.

“Get dressed,” Damien said quickly. “I won’t let anything happen to you.”

We hurriedly put on our clothes. Damien wore a black shirt and slacks, looking sharp and dangerous. I wore a simple dress he gave me.

When we went downstairs, the living room was filled with tension.

Old Mr. Vane was sitting there, looking serious. And standing near the door… was someone I never expected to see.

“Papa?!” I gasped.

My father was there. Looking weak, but alive.

“Violet! My child!” He walked towards me and hugged me. “I heard what happened! I was so worried! They told me there was an attack!”

“Papa, how are you here?” I cried, happy and confused.

“I asked them to bring him here,” Damien said from behind me. “Because it’s not safe for him to stay in the old house anymore. From now on, your family will live here too. Under my protection.”

I turned to look at Damien, tears in my eyes. “You did that for us?”

“Anything for you,” he smiled softly.

But then, Grandpa Vane cleared his throat loudly.

“Enough of this sweetness,” he said sternly, looking at Damien. “You told me this marriage was just for show, Damien. You told me you would handle it. But look at you! You are already too attached! And now you’ve put a target on her back and her family’s back!”

Damien stepped forward, shielding me behind him.

“I know what I’m doing, Grandpa,” he said firmly. “I love her. And I will protect her with my life.”

“Love?” Grandpa snorted. “Love is weakness in this world, Damien! You of all people should know that! Because of love, your father almost died! Do you want the same thing to happen to you?!”

That name… his father. I looked at Damien. I never heard him talk about his father.

Damien’s jaw tightened. “My father made a mistake. I won’t. I will be stronger. I will eliminate all our enemies before they can touch her.”

“Is that why you brought her family here?” Grandpa asked. “Or is it to keep them as hostages?”

“Grandpa!” Damien shouted. “Watch your words!”

“I’m just saying the truth!” The old man stood up, looking at me with sharp eyes. “You, young lady. Do you realize what you got yourself into? Being with Damien means you can never live a normal life again. It means danger, blood, and fear. Are you ready for that?”

I took a deep breath, stepped out from behind Damien, and looked the old man in the eye.

“I love him,” I said clearly and firmly. “And love means staying together no matter what. If there is danger, we will face it together. I am not afraid. Because I know Damien will protect us.”

The room went silent.

Grandpa looked at me, really looked at me, for a long time. Then, slowly, a small smile appeared on his face.

“Hmph. You have guts, girl,” he muttered. “Maybe you are indeed right for my grandson.”

He turned to Damien.

“Listen to me carefully, boy. Since you decided to make this real, then you have to be ready. The people who shot at you last night… they belong to the Black Scorpion Gang. They are ruthless.”

“I know,” Damien said grimly. “They killed my father, didn’t they?”

Grandpa nodded slowly. “Yes. And they want to finish what they started. They want the Vane Empire to fall.”

“Then let them come,” Damien said, his eyes glowing with determination and rage. “I will destroy them all. And I will make them pay for everything.”

He looked down at me and held my hand tight.

“Nothing will hurt you, Violet. I swear on my life.”

A NEW THREAT

Later that day, everyone settled down. My father was given a room to rest, and Damien was busy talking to his men, planning their next move.

I was sitting in the garden, trying to calm down, when my phone rang.

An unknown number.

I answered it hesitantly. “Hello?”

“Hello… Mrs. Vane,” a distorted, creepy voice spoke from the other line. “Such a lovely voice.”

“Who is this?” I stood up, my heart pounding.

“We are the ones who gave you and your husband a little scare last night,” the man laughed evilly. “Tell your husband something for me. Tell him that we are coming for what is ours. And tell him… we have something that belongs to him too.”

“What are you talking about?” I trembled.

“Your little sister, Violet,” the voice whispered. “Oh yes. We know you have a sister. She’s so cute… so small. It would be a shame if something happened to her, wouldn’t it?”

“NO! Leave her alone!” I screamed, tears falling. “What do you want?!”

“We want Damien Vane dead,” the voice said coldly. “Or else… you will never see your sister again. You have 24 hours. Make your choice, Mrs. Vane. Save your husband… or save your family.”

The line went dead.

I dropped my phone, collapsing on the grass, sobbing uncontrollably.

They had my sister. They took her.

Damien… what am I going to do? I can’t let them kill you. But I can’t let them hurt my sister either!

I looked up at the window where Damien was. He was looking out, watching me, smiling slightly. He had no idea what just happened.

I wiped my tears. I had to be strong. For my sister. For Damien.

I will find a way. I will save everyone. Even if I have to sacrifice myself.

That monster kicked Damien right in the face. Hard. “Damien!” I finally managed to scream, tears blinding my vision. “Stop it! Please! Don’t hurt him!” Damien didn’t even groan. He didn’t wipe the blood that started trickling from his lip. He just slowly lifted his head, looking up at the masked man with eyes that burned with pure hatred and defiance. He was bleeding. He was humiliated. He was on his knees… but he still looked like the most powerful man alive. “Is that all you got?” Damien spat out, his voice hoarse and dangerous. “You have to hide behind a child and kick a man when he’s down? You are pathetic.” “SHUT UP!” The man screamed, pressing the knife harder against Mia’s neck, leaving a small red mark. “I am in control here! I won! I have your wife! I have your sister-in-law! Cold, calculating, and terrifying. Damien Vane. The name alone was enough to make the whole city tremble. He was the King of the business world. Ruthless, powerful, and dangerously handsome. And right now, he was offering me a deal I couldn’t refuse. “Marry me,” he said, his voice deep and void of any emotion. “For one year. Sign this contract, and I will pay off all your family’s debts.
