Before I could answer Grace, I got distracted by a call from Paul. Thank God he called, I didn’t know what I was going to say to Grace that would convince her to leave my room. I smiled sheepishly at Grace, watching her glare at me with a look that said “You’re not off the hook”,

I dashed out of my office into the lounge to talk to Paul.

“Hey dude, what’s up?”,

“Hi, yeah man all’s good. Uh have you heard from Marga?”, he asked

I was a bit confused. I didn’t know who Marga was, or why Paul would ask me about her/him.

“Who’s Marga dude?”, I asked trying to clear up my doubt

“The girl from the club two nights ago man. The one you gave $10,000”, he added

Paul didn’t know I gave her $12k instead of $10k and I wanted to keep it that way for some odd reason.

“Uh no, I haven’t heard from her, why ask”,

“She hasn’t been to work in 2 days, i was starting to get worried, and her number is unreachable”, he stated
