I made it right in time for breakfast. Breakfast for me was usually lonely, with no one to eat with, unless Julia or Paul were around.

I’ve asked Grace to join me several times but she doesn’t listen. So now it’s just going to be me on the dining, eating alone.

Speaking of Julia, I haven’t seen or heard from her in a while. She’s probably fine. If she were not, she’d be here nagging either about money or sex. I was going to call her to come over but for some reason I was so hesitant about it. And Paul, I could go over to his bar to pay him a visit anytime. I hadn’t seen him in 2 weeks, I wonder how he was.

I made my way downstairs and into my dining room. I was greeted with the fine smell of fried bacon and garlic bread which enveloped the room. I liked my bacon medium rare, anything other than that, I made sure not to eat.
