Waiting for my guest

As the first rays of sunlight gently peeked through the curtains, of my room, I wiggled in my cozy bed. I slowly opened my eyes, feeling well-rested and content after a restful night's sleep. The room was covered in a warm, golden light, casting a soft glow over everything it touched.

I sat up and stretched, casually feeling stiff and sloppy. I could hear the chirping of birds outside, and a gentle breeze rustling the leaves of nearby trees. The air was crisp and fresh, carrying with it the promise of a new day.

I knew I didn’t have to go to the office today. I had my assistant Gina cancel all of my meetings. I wanted to stay home today, moreover, I had a guest coming over later.

With a warm smile on my face, I got out of bed and made my way to the window, to start my morning routine.
