Chapter One Hundred Thirty-One

All Mrs Bloom wanted to do at that moment was to stare into her daughter's beautiful eyes and speak to her. She wanted her lively daughter back, not Eve who was sleeping like a log.

"And when is she going to recover?" Mr Bloom asked. He wanted to see his daughter open her eyes then maybe, he might believe in the recovery process the doctor was hinting on.

The doctor looked him straight in the eyes and said. "Your daughter is making huge progress. She'll be fine."

"But do you think it's normal?" Mrs Bloom threw the question at the doctor and began rubbing her daughter's left palm tenderly. "Are you sure she's not in a coma or something?"

The nurse turned to address the woman. "As I said, the patient is undergoing a recovery process. She's not in a coma. The sedatives are serving their purpose. You guys need to relax and be patient. She'll wake up at the right time."

The doctor turned to Mr Bloom. and flashed one of her reassuring smiles. "Excuse me," She said and walked out.
