Chapter One Hundred Twenty-Eight

Henry opened his eyes after a slight groan. He closed his eyes and opened them almost immediately. He rolled his wearied eyes around his new environment. His eyes had lumps underneath.

There was a drip hooked to his left wrist and when he stared at his chest, he discovered that his joggers were swapped for the hospital uniform. He sighed in frustration, wishing he could disappear from the environment.

He turned away with a sigh and soon, his nostrils were picking up the annoying scent of medication which was driving him insane.

"Bloody hospital!" he cussed and sat up.

As a kid, his mother would always drag him to a hospital when he was ill and when he was admitted, Henry would cry all night till he got discharged. He hated hospitals and since he clocked 18, he stopped going to hospitals when he was ill. He would only have a doctor examine him at his residence and administer treatment to him there.
