I looked at Kelly with cold contempt. "I might be a nobody in this industry, but I'm still the only daughter of the Litt family and my brothers' one and only sister!

"If they really recognize you as their sister, I can't do anything about it. But I'd advise you to know your place! Don't let a little fame go to your head!"

To my surprise, after hearing what I said, Kelly forgot all about the slap. Instead, she burst out laughing. "Do you mean to say you're the Litt heiress? You must be delusional."

Her face was full of mockery as she continued berating me. "Many people in the world share the surname Litt. But does that make all of them heiresses? By that logic, maybe we should all change our surname. That way, we can all be a part of the family!"

Doubt began to creep into everyone's expressions.

"Is she trying to fake her identity?"

"If she's really an heiress, why is her career so dead? The Litt family could make her an A-list celebrity anytime."

"Yeah. The audacity to pose as one of them…"

Kelly grew more and more animated and gave me a once-over. The contempt in her eyes was unmistakable.

"I'm super close to my brothers. If you're the real deal, why haven't they mentioned you to me? Don't make me laugh, okay? Next time, if you want to play the impostor, get your story straight. I've always been the only one they dote on."

I wasn't surprised that no one believed me.

I didn't want my brothers hovering over me every day, so I hid my identity and joined the entertainment industry. Having ended up as a D-list nobody, it was entirely normal that no one would connect me to the Litt heiress, who was meant to be the center of attention.

Sure, my career was in the gutter because I lacked talent. That was on me. But that didn't mean I was going to stand here and let Kelly walk all over me, especially not after she broke Mom's pendant.

Since Kelly kept bragging about how much her "brothers" loved her, I decided to summon them to explain themselves.

I pulled out my phone and tried to call my brothers.

Kelly frowned. "What are you doing?"

I smirked. "If they care so much about you, why aren't they here yet? We've been at this for a while now. Maybe I should just call them."

Hearing this, Kelly slapped the phone out of my hand. The screen hit the ground and shattered into a web of cracks.

"Cut the act! Who are you calling? Who can you even call? Who are you even worthy of calling? How dare you impersonate someone you're not and try to deceive my brothers? I'll teach you a lesson today on their behalf!"

At her command, several bodyguards dressed in black immediately stepped out from the crowd.

The crew members turned pale and immediately scattered in every direction.

"Her brothers gave her personal bodyguards!"

"This is getting out of hand!"

"Man! The editing team is in for some overtime. Sophia is surely getting blacklisted by tomorrow!"

Before I could react, both of my arms were held down in a tight, crushing grip by the bodyguards. A sudden, heavy weight bore down on my shoulders, forcibly pinning me in place.

It happened in a matter of seconds, so I had no chance to fight back at all.

Kelly gloated instantly, raising her hand. "Bitch, how dare you slap me just now?"

More than ten slaps landed across my face before I knew what hit me. My cheek swelled painfully, and my vision blurred.

Then Kelly took a needle from her makeup pouch, her face filled with manic glee. "You like to run your mouth, right? I'll pierce it now. Let's see whether you still dare do it in the future!"

I glared at her. "Don't you dare touch me! My family won't let you off!"

Kelly laughed mockingly. "My, my, look at that filthy mouth of yours. Maybe piercing it isn't enough. I should sew it shut. Let's see how you steal my brothers when you can't even speak."

Just as the needle was about to hurt me, a commotion suddenly broke out near the recording set entrance.

"What's going on here?"
