Nikki POV What a busy morning! After a quick shower, I dressed in training clothes and threw a t-shirt in my backpack for when we're amongst humans. Nikki POV Pulling up in front of the pack house, I see a couple standing out front. The man is handsome with tanned skin and piercing gray eyes. The woman is beautiful. She stands about a foot shorter than the man with shoulder length brown with blonde highlighted hair and the most infectious smile I have ever seen. Nikki POV Today is the day. I should be more excited for orientation day, but I'm not. This is the first time I have ever truly felt alone. Don’t get me wrong I felt alone when my mother was killed and that’s what started my unfortunate drinking binge. Definitely not a moment that I am proud of. But now I am truly alone. Pursuing my dream career is wonderful and I could really go somewhere with it, but I am scared and I miss everyone terribly already. I showered quickly and did my lotion routine. I decided to pull on a pair of skinny jeans, my dad’s vintage ‘88 Blow Up Your Video World Tour AC/DC t-shirt and my red platform Chuck Taylors. Nikki POV After my counseling session, I went home and made myself some dinner as the meal plan included in my tuition did not begin until the next day when classes began. After dinner I took time to journal, then washed up and readied for bed. I crawled into my bed and just laid there staring into the darkness. The bed seems huge without Frankie in it. I miss him, I wonder if he’s thinking of me. I wonder what Alpha Kieran is going to do or has done with my mom’s house. I wonder if Jonas and the twins are having a good start of their senior year.
