“Mr. Harris…..” Darcy spoke hesitantly.

“Come on now Darcy why are you back to being formal again, can you not do that, after all, you are now my fiancé and it is natural to call each other endearingly.” Gale’s tone was teasing and Darcy couldn’t help but feel embarrassed.

“Hey I am not your fiancée.” Darcy retorted.

“No matter what you say, the press won’t agree, so we are engaged and that’s the end of the story till everything is under control,” Gale said flatly.

“But what will our families think when they know about this arrangement?” Darcy couldn’t help but worry.

“I will explain the situation to them so you need not worry,” Gale said very calmly.

Darcy could not help but get annoyed with his chilled-out behaviour like getting engaged is very normal. But she couldn’t argue with him so she chose to get out of the car and leave but once she was out of the car she remembered the embarrassing situation at Shelly’s house and pointed her finger towards him.

“You! Why did you pull
