Lesley is lost in her thoughts as she watches the fire dance in front of her. She stares at the burning wood while thinking about what they went through today. After escaping Shane's men, they hid in the forest and ran until the sky became dark. She hugs herself and sits on a rock wide enough to support her. She savors the warmth the fire gives as Dan continues to add more dried branches to the bonfire they had lit before sunset. Lesley patted the scrapes on her arms. She got it earlier when she jumped from the car. She had no deep wounds or broken bones, but the scratches on her skin were stinging. She glances at Bangs, who is still sound asleep next to her. She wonders what kind of sleeping pill or tranquilizer they used on him. He did not wake up or flinched even after they jumped from the car. Fortunately, Bangs had only a tiny wound on his left leg because she hugged him as they rolled on the rocky ground. "Does it hurt?" Dan asked, noticing her occasional look at her wounds
"As I said, that's not the only reason. I'll get pregnant," Lesley explained. Bangs held his laughter. "Oh, right." "Stop teasing me, Bangs!" "You're doing what you wanted with me when I was asleep, but I can't do that to you?" "It's different! It's just a kiss! It's called a magical kiss of true love. I did it to wake you up like Sleeping Beauty. It worked, didn't it?" He did not know who and what she was referring to, but he understood what she was implying and respected that. "I understand. I won't force you," he said. He restrained himself even though his body was getting very hot. He kept glancing at her chest. He wanted to feel it on his palms and inside his mouth. He swallowed hard at the strong desire to be intimate with her. Lesley moved closer and leaned her head on his shoulder while she grabbed his arms. "You can kiss me every day," she said as if to make him feel a bit better. "Anywhere?" She laughed. "Why are you so naughty?" He smiled and took a deep breath.
“How are you feeling?" Bangs asked worriedly as he sat beside Lesley. “Is your body all right?"She smiled at him. “Thanks to you I'm fine. I don't think anything serious happened to me."“You can't know that for sure.""I know it. And really, thank you, Bangs. You saved me earlier," Lesley said as she drank the whole bottle. "I thought I was going to be stuck there. It started raining too. I was really scared back there. Thank you for finding me."She looked at Bangs, and saw a frown on his face."Don't leave my side again," he said bitterly.Lesley sighed, she thought for a moment before answering."Bangs, there will be times that we have to be apart. I know you want to always be with me. I want that too. But don't focus your life around me. What if I die? You need to learn to live on your own. Be independent.""Die?"His face grew even sourer, and he looked at her sharply."I'm sorry. Of course, that's not going to happen," she cleared her throat. "But still, don't revolve your wor
Lesley slowly opened her eyes when she woke up from Bangs' soft taps on her shoulder. Their eyes, which were only an inch away, locked on each other, and she gazed at him perplexedly.Last night… we…Her heart raced when she remembered everything that had happened and how intimate they were. Her cheeks burned, and her lips partly opened as if trying to say something but the words were not coming out of her mouth."Someone is coming," Bangs interjected. He quickly stood up to take her slightly dried clothes from the rock and handed them to her. Lesley cleared her throat. "I-Is it Dan?" she asked, trying her best not to sound awkward. Even though what happened last night kept playing in her head."I'm not sure. I'm sorry," Bangs answered anxiously. He is still not used to being surrounded by other people when unchained. Even though it is a bit bearable now, he is still afraid of what he might do to them."That's alright. I'm sure it's our help." Lesley sighed in relief. "Oh, finally! I
They rode the black mini-truck to the 7th hideout. She and Bangs sat beside each other while holding hands until she fell asleep. Hours later, she woke up lying in a bed, surrounded by a white curtain, and her head throbbing."Hey, Iston, how is she?"The voice is familiar. She recognizes it as Airah's."Could you please lower your voice?" She remembers that voice too. It was Iston's."So grumpy," Airah snorted. "No wonder you don't have a girlfriend.""As if you have a boyfriend.""So mean too! I'm not going to help you find a girl here."What are they arguing about? Lesley forced her eyes open again. The surroundings are still blurry, but she can tell she is in some sort of infirmary. Her clothes have changed too. "I don't need your advice, and I don't need your help," Iston stressed."Oh, but you need it! I know all of the girls here. I'm the leader, after all. I must know everyone."Iston sighed and gave Airah a tired look. "Why are you here, Ai? Surely it's not to annoy me. Or
"I promise you I'll kill you! I'll kill all of you! Every one of you, Nobles! You won't get away with it! I promise you!"Bangs woke up again from the nightmare he had been having since the Crimson Clan rescued them and sheltered them in its small fortress in a remote area. He sat up and leaned against the wall, staring into nothingness. It had been two days since the last time he saw Lesley. Once again, he is alone and locked up in a small room. He will stay here until the symptoms of his drug withdrawal stop. His fists clenched. Is he destined to be imprisoned perpetually? He sighed and gazed at the surroundings. At least this new prison is much nicer and more comfortable than his cold ward in MNA. But he still feels as lonely. There is a soft bed, a radio that kills his boredom, and magazines with pictures of beautiful women with barely any clothes to cover their bodies. He briefly looked at the pages before throwing them at the corner. Those girls couldn't compare with Lesley in
"Bangs, I missed you so much!" she beamed while she gazed at him. "Did you miss me too?"He nodded jerkily. "Lesley," he softly uttered as if saying a prayer while staring into her captivating brown eyes. He felt like he hadn't seen her in weeks. He smiled warmly and then caressed her cheek. "I can't believe you're here."Lesley smiled wider and cupped his face. "You are not dreaming if that is what you're thinking," she said, releasing him. "It's good that they allowed me to see you. I thought it would take longer. I was very worried. How are you here? Do you feel better?""I'm still alive," he said proudly. She laughed. "Is it that bad?""I will be better if I can see you every day.""Oh, Bangs," she said, sighing. "I was so worried when they said you were locked up. But now that I've seen and talked to you, I feel better. I see that Iston is taking good care of you. Also," Lesley quickly scanned his room, "your room is much better than I had imagined. I'm a little less worried now
Lesley's chest felt like it was about to burst with excitement as she stared into her lover's eyes, which had now turned gray. She had already mastered the young man. The color of his eyes changes when he feels a strong emotion, and she knows what kind of emotion he is feeling right now. One that makes her body quiver in anticipation and desire.Bangs stepped closer and left only an inch of distance between their faces."Lesley, you started this, so you can't back out."She swallows from his intense gaze, melting her and weakening her knees."Why would I?" she managed to answer. "I said you can touch me. Just touch," she stressed. "That's not a bid deal, isn't it? You have already touched me before."A corner of his lips lifted. Lesley is sure that he is thinking of something naughty again, adding to her nervousness. But at the same time, it made her curious and more excited. He stared down at her lips. She was anticipating his lips to touch hers, but that did not happen. Instead, his
