Getting back to the compound, I head for my room, feeling angry and frustrated.

I do not want to marry a stranger, and I have tried everything to lose my damn virginity so I can prevent it, but my guards are used to my tantrums and always manage to cut me off before any 'damage' is done.

I am not surprised when, after my quick shower and change into my silk PJs, there is a sharp knock on my door.

'Come in, Papa.'

I sigh again, wearily knowing the lecture I am about to hear.

'Tavisha, it would appear your behaviour was less than exemplary tonight.'

He says, striding into my room with all the authority of his station, but he does not intimidate me as he does his men.

'I did nothing wrong, Papa, and Andrei was wrong to drag me out so early. So, I was having a little fun, where is the harm in that?'

I snap back at him, fed up with being treated like a child.

'I am nineteen years old, not a kid in high school anymore, Papa. We were celebrating the end of my first year in college and passing my exams with almost perfect scores. I see no wrong in that.'

His lips draw into a thin line, and he folds his arms across his chest.

'You are my only child, the Principessa, and yet my men find you cavorting with American Forces men?'

'I was not 'cavorting' with anybody.'

I lose my temper at the insinuation.

'Those guys had only just arrived. I was having fun dancing and drinking cocktails, nothing more.'

I have my hands on my hips, glaring back at him, no one else would dare answer the Pakhan back so disrespectfully, but I am his daughter, and I have always been rebellious.

'I can see I need to arrange a marriage for you sooner rather than later.'

He growls, and a stab of fear runs down my spine. He had promised to wait until I was twenty-one before even considering it.

'You promised Papa.'

I yell at him, biting my tongue so hard the coppery taste of blood hits my mouth as I refuse to let him see my tears.

'Perhaps you should have thought of that before you decided to act like a whore.'

He snapped back at me and turned to walk out of my room, leaving me stunned by his words.

Tears stream down my face, and I curl up on my bed to cry myself to sleep, angry and hurt by his accusations.

The next few days I spend at college, rounding up my first year and collecting the reading I need to do in the summer.

'Tavisha, I have a list of animal charities, zoos, and Veterinarians near where you live, and I have set up interviews with three of them for you to do part of your residency required to pass this course. It is entirely up to you which one you choose, but you must spend a month there to gain the credit you need.'

I smile excitedly up at Professor Jordan. This is what I have been waiting for. I can't wait to actually get hands-on with the animals I love so much, and I already know which one I intend to select.

The Houston Rescue Centre takes in any animal in need of help, including every domestic animal as well as any wild animal that gets injured anywhere in the state. They have rescued mountain lions and other big cats, which excites me. I would love to work with such creatures.

Thanking the Professor, I head out to the waiting SUV. I decide to see what the chances of me getting a place at the Centre are.

'Head for the Houston Rescue Centre, please, Andryan.'

My guard gives me a grin and nods at Andrei before they head out to the Centre for me. They know all about my College Course; it was heavily vetted before I was allowed to attend, but all my father's men know it has always been my dream to work with animals.

At the Centre, I meet the Manager, Poppy Johnson, who is delighted to offer me a position when she hears I am studying at the College, and I dream of being a Veterinary Surgeon.

'Can you start on Monday?'

She asks eagerly.

'We are always short-staffed, so as long as you don't mind getting your hands dirty, you are very welcome, and I promise you will have lots of opportunities to earn the credit you need.'

Beaming happily, we shake hands, and I walk out, floating on air at the chance I have been given and get into the SUV for the ride home. Both my guards pepper me with questions about what I will be doing at the Centre, and they roar with laughter when I tell them I will be cleaning out cages and probably walking dogs.

'You? Getting those delicate little hands dirty?

Andrei shakes his head, pointing at my perfectly polished nails and soft white hands with a laugh.

'I'm not afraid of hard work and getting my hands dirty.'

I pout like the brat I am, making the two of them laugh.

'Oh Principessa, we know you will work hard, and this will open your eyes to the real world.'

I know they are only teasing me, so I continue to pout brattily as they drive me home, totally unaware I am being watched and very soon my world will be turned upside down.

At the compound, I walk in with my backpack over my shoulder, with thoughts of working in the Centre crowding my mind, but I stop dead in the entrance. The tension inside the house is palpable; armed guards are everywhere, and my head spins from side to side in confusion.

'What's going on?'

I ask Andryan, who doesn't answer, he just tosses me over his shoulder and takes the steps three at a time before dumping on my bed with a gruff.

'Stay right here.'

I looked across at the table where I had left my new little wife and was shocked to see it was empty.'What the fuck?'Jumping to my feet, I tipped the barbunny off my lap unceremoniously, and she landed on the floor, shouting obscenities at me, but I did not care.'Where the fuck had she got to?'I grabbed the cuff I had used to find it covered in blood, and my heart sank.'What the fuck had she done?'I immediately called a halt to the reception and yelled for the lights to be turned up. It was easy to follow her trail once the main lights were on, a trail of blood led to the offices. Well, the Principessa had made a huge mistake; there were no doors on this corridor, so I took my time striding down toward the last office. It was time to teach my wife who she belonged to and show her that running away was not an option. Pushing open the door, I stopped in my tracks. The big bay window was wide open, and lying beneath it was a pool of bloodstained ivory silk. Racing to the window, I

I stared around me. It was a beautiful night, warm and sultry, and the Bikers were enjoying themselves at her wedding reception. ''My wedding reception?'I had thought sadly that this was not what I had imagined it would be like. I had dreamed of elegant people, the men dressed in tuxedos, the women in beautiful gowns. There would have been a three-piece band playing classical music, with dancing and soft chatter. It was nothing like the loud music and brash men and women making out so openly in front of my eyes. The food was untouched in front of me, the very thought of eating made me nauseous, I had drunk the glass of champagne then, as everyone had completely ignored me, so I had helped myself to as many glasses as I could. It had been a mistake; all the alcohol did was make me feel more depressed.I was so lonely, but every opening for my escape was shut.He had made sure of it. Her mind replayed her father's words over and over again.'She was worthless. It was not normal for

She is just so cute when she's angry. Those beautiful eyes flash like sparkling emeralds, her skin is flushed a delicate pink, and her rosebud lips are parted, showing her perfect little white teeth.'God, I want those lips around my cock so badly.'I think, grinning at the thought, and ignoring her protests, I turn back to Father McGiven, gripping her wrists so tightly I'm sure it must hurt her. 'Okay, Mac, let's move this along. I do, and she does, now what's next?'The Priest looks a little nonplussed at Tavisha's continuing protests, but knows not to cross me, so he carries on not looking at her. We move on to exchanging the rings, and I have to peel her ring finger out of the fist she has tightly clenched at her side. I put my own ring on and grip her left hand to make sure she keeps my ring on. I pull her in front of me, clasping her arms across her chest with my free hand, pinning her against my body so she cannot move until McGiven says the magic words.'By the power vested i

I stared at the locked doors. His two goons had dragged me here from the bedroom, and now they expected me to walk down the aisle as if this were a normal wedding. One of them opens the door, and I start to fight wildly, screaming that I will not get married. One of the goons grabs me and throws me over his shoulder and marches down the aisle. I beat his broad, muscled back with my fists, but I'm so small that they do not affect him. I'm dropped at the feet of that damn man, and he's smirking at me with his beautiful eyes, running over my body hungrily, and I can't help my body's reaction to him. To hide my attraction, I resort to anger and tell him that Papa will kill him if he goes through with this. When he grabs me and spins me around, I come face-to-face with my father. Hope burns through my veins so quickly that I have to fight the tears that sting the back of my throat. I try to take a step toward him, but the Priest is talking, and my Papa finally looks at me and says in Russ

Patrick did not fight me when I took the rifle from him. The bullet had shot harmlessly into the sky, and I tossed it to the floor.'Come on, old man. Where is the girl?'His eyes darted to the farmhouse but quickly returned to me.'What girl'He played dumb, but he was no match for me. I tossed him aside and headed into the farmhouse, only to find it empty.'Over here, Pres.'I heard the voice of one of my Prospects and ran back to my Harley, turning it to the sound of his voice and revving the engine, heading towards the back of the farmhouse. As I round the corner, I see the trail bike wobble and shoot forward, grabbing her from the back of it as Travis skids and almost crashes to the floor.'Got you.'I smirk and turn my bike to take my prize home. This time, she is not getting away.I waited nervously in the small church that lay on our property. I stared at Travis and his father as the sound of the Harleys grew louder, and from the looks on their faces, they could see the fear on mine.'T, Travis?'I stuttered, my eyes wide and looking around widely for any exit, when his father stepped forward.'Don't you worry, little girl, I won't let that fucking biker get you.'I watch in horror as he grabs an old shotgun and heads out onto the porch.'No, no.'I try to move to stop him, but Travis grabs me and pushes me backwards against the wall standing in front of me. We hear the bikes pull up, and then the engines cut off, and the sound of boots crunching across the gravel reaches us, and I'm beginning to panic, my breathing coming out in small pants.'We have to go. We have to go.'I'm chanting, finding it hard to drag in oxygen as we listen to Travis' father facing down Killian and then the sound of the rifle exploding. My fear reaches fever point, and I scream, fighting to get past Travis so I can run away, but he grabs me, thro
