She had been sleeping for hours, and I was beginning to worry that my men had given her too much of the sedation when she finally began to move.
I can't help myself as I watch her come around and stagger to the bathroom, and I'm glad I can't hear her as I know she is being sick. The sedation we used has nausea as a side effect, and I can only wait until she returns to bed, but does not get into it. She stands for a few minutes, gazing around the room, assessing her situation, until she notices the balcony door. I am stunned by what she does next and even laugh out loud when she ends up on her ass as the chain around her waist pulls her up short. Even the look on her face was funny, and the men in my security room chuckled just as loudly.
The laughter dies on our lips as we watch her fight the chain until her hands are bleeding and her waist is bruised so badly that it is also bleeding. It is only when she collapses onto her knees, sobbing hysterically, that my men turn to me in shock.
'What the fuck did we just witness?'
Cormack asks with his eyes wide open and shaking his head as I leave the security room and her for her room. When I reach her, she is virtually unconscious as I scoop her into my arms and lay her back on the bed. I'm surprised when she does not open her eyes, but I quickly move the chain and assess the damage.
'Fuck.'
I grit my teeth and then head into the bathroom and grab the first aid kit. She still does not open her eyes as I clean her hands and waist and wrap them in bandages, then I tuck her into the bed and leave the room.
I head back to the security room and find that I am sitting in front of the screens watching her again as she sleeps for a couple of hours, then wakes up and stares at the Advil I left her, then reacts so violently she falls off the bed.
'What the fuck?'
This time, it's Liam who turns to look at me, eyes wide at her wild behaviour.
'Fucking hell, she is not what I expected.'
I groan and shake my head and then pull myself up.
'Why did I think that the spoiled Princess of the Bratva Pakhan would be a placid prisoner?'
I frown and push away from the monitor when I see the woman has managed to manoeuvre herself back onto the bed.
'She will sort herself out.'
I think and head for my office to get stuck into the mountain of paperwork on my desk. I force myself to stay away from the security room and concentrate on my MC.
Two days later, Conner comes into my office, followed by his twin, Callum.
'Pres, think you should see this.'
He says his eyes are full of worry, and I'm surprised to see it reflected in Callum's as well.
A sense of unease settles on my shoulders as I get to my feet to follow them.
'What the fuck is going on?'
I ask them, but they head for the security room and point at the screens. The woman is curled on the bed, unmoving, and I frown at the twins.
'What's wrong?'
I asked, puzzled, and Callum turned to look at me.
' Pres, look at the tray.'
I notice the small table near the door and see the tray full of untouched food.
'She's not hungry today?'
I say my eyes are going from one to the other.
'No, Pres, you don't get it. The damn woman hasn't eaten or drunk a thing since you put her in there.'
Conner said worriedly, running his hand over his face, and both twins stared at the screen as if it would answer their questions.
'Why am I only just learning this now?'
I demand, pushing them out of the way as I head for the room in long strides, turning the key in her door and swinging it open, to find her barely conscious on the bed.
'Jeez, what the fuck are you playing at?'
I snap, scooping her up and shaking her until she opens her eyes.
'What's wrong with you? I thought you would have more backbone.'
She comes to life slowly, clearly weak from lack of food, but then her eyes flash and turn to a brilliant jade.
'Take your fucking hands off me, you animal.'
Her hands come to my chest, and she shoves, but she's not strong enough to move me.
'I did not think you would break so easily. I thought the Bratva were made from sterner stuff.'
I sneer, provoking her deliberately, and she takes the bait, managing to pull away from me and then shocking me when her hand snaps back and slaps me across the face.
'You are exactly what they warned me about.'
She's on her feet, but they don't support her, and I have to reach out and catch her before she falls.
'Hey, steady there, beautiful.'
I can't help but grin at the little spitfire in my arms, and it feels so fucking good, so right. She fits perfectly, but I close my mind to those thoughts and toss her back onto the bed.
Leaning down, I grab her delicate chin and bring her eyes up to meet mine.
'If you don't start eating your food, girlie, then I am going to come in here every meal and fucking feed you, do you understand me?
Those stunning eyes flash, but she's not strong enough to fight me, and she knows it, so she bows her head in a slight nod.
I looked across at the table where I had left my new little wife and was shocked to see it was empty.'What the fuck?'Jumping to my feet, I tipped the barbunny off my lap unceremoniously, and she landed on the floor, shouting obscenities at me, but I did not care.'Where the fuck had she got to?'I grabbed the cuff I had used to find it covered in blood, and my heart sank.'What the fuck had she done?'I immediately called a halt to the reception and yelled for the lights to be turned up. It was easy to follow her trail once the main lights were on, a trail of blood led to the offices. Well, the Principessa had made a huge mistake; there were no doors on this corridor, so I took my time striding down toward the last office. It was time to teach my wife who she belonged to and show her that running away was not an option. Pushing open the door, I stopped in my tracks. The big bay window was wide open, and lying beneath it was a pool of bloodstained ivory silk. Racing to the window, I
I stared around me. It was a beautiful night, warm and sultry, and the Bikers were enjoying themselves at her wedding reception. ''My wedding reception?'I had thought sadly that this was not what I had imagined it would be like. I had dreamed of elegant people, the men dressed in tuxedos, the women in beautiful gowns. There would have been a three-piece band playing classical music, with dancing and soft chatter. It was nothing like the loud music and brash men and women making out so openly in front of my eyes. The food was untouched in front of me, the very thought of eating made me nauseous, I had drunk the glass of champagne then, as everyone had completely ignored me, so I had helped myself to as many glasses as I could. It had been a mistake; all the alcohol did was make me feel more depressed.I was so lonely, but every opening for my escape was shut.He had made sure of it. Her mind replayed her father's words over and over again.'She was worthless. It was not normal for
She is just so cute when she's angry. Those beautiful eyes flash like sparkling emeralds, her skin is flushed a delicate pink, and her rosebud lips are parted, showing her perfect little white teeth.'God, I want those lips around my cock so badly.'I think, grinning at the thought, and ignoring her protests, I turn back to Father McGiven, gripping her wrists so tightly I'm sure it must hurt her. 'Okay, Mac, let's move this along. I do, and she does, now what's next?'The Priest looks a little nonplussed at Tavisha's continuing protests, but knows not to cross me, so he carries on not looking at her. We move on to exchanging the rings, and I have to peel her ring finger out of the fist she has tightly clenched at her side. I put my own ring on and grip her left hand to make sure she keeps my ring on. I pull her in front of me, clasping her arms across her chest with my free hand, pinning her against my body so she cannot move until McGiven says the magic words.'By the power vested i
I stared at the locked doors. His two goons had dragged me here from the bedroom, and now they expected me to walk down the aisle as if this were a normal wedding. One of them opens the door, and I start to fight wildly, screaming that I will not get married. One of the goons grabs me and throws me over his shoulder and marches down the aisle. I beat his broad, muscled back with my fists, but I'm so small that they do not affect him. I'm dropped at the feet of that damn man, and he's smirking at me with his beautiful eyes, running over my body hungrily, and I can't help my body's reaction to him. To hide my attraction, I resort to anger and tell him that Papa will kill him if he goes through with this. When he grabs me and spins me around, I come face-to-face with my father. Hope burns through my veins so quickly that I have to fight the tears that sting the back of my throat. I try to take a step toward him, but the Priest is talking, and my Papa finally looks at me and says in Russ
Patrick did not fight me when I took the rifle from him. The bullet had shot harmlessly into the sky, and I tossed it to the floor.'Come on, old man. Where is the girl?'His eyes darted to the farmhouse but quickly returned to me.'What girl'He played dumb, but he was no match for me. I tossed him aside and headed into the farmhouse, only to find it empty.'Over here, Pres.'I heard the voice of one of my Prospects and ran back to my Harley, turning it to the sound of his voice and revving the engine, heading towards the back of the farmhouse. As I round the corner, I see the trail bike wobble and shoot forward, grabbing her from the back of it as Travis skids and almost crashes to the floor.'Got you.'I smirk and turn my bike to take my prize home. This time, she is not getting away.I waited nervously in the small church that lay on our property. Father McGiven was a Brother who had struggled with his beliefs and being part of the MC club in his early years. Before he had someho
I stared at Travis and his father as the sound of the Harleys grew louder, and from the looks on their faces, they could see the fear on mine.'T, Travis?'I stuttered, my eyes wide and looking around widely for any exit, when his father stepped forward.'Don't you worry, little girl, I won't let that fucking biker get you.'I watch in horror as he grabs an old shotgun and heads out onto the porch.'No, no.'I try to move to stop him, but Travis grabs me and pushes me backwards against the wall standing in front of me. We hear the bikes pull up, and then the engines cut off, and the sound of boots crunching across the gravel reaches us, and I'm beginning to panic, my breathing coming out in small pants.'We have to go. We have to go.'I'm chanting, finding it hard to drag in oxygen as we listen to Travis' father facing down Killian and then the sound of the rifle exploding. My fear reaches fever point, and I scream, fighting to get past Travis so I can run away, but he grabs me, thro
