yes and what readers ignore is that Celeste expect that Trevor and Wynn will be raising Jo when they get married. In her mind she is making the transition easy for Jo cause she thinks Jo loves Wynn more than her. she's not abandoning her daughter she is trying to give her what she thinks she wants
