When Ryan walked into his office, he saw Olivia by the desk going through some files before she noticed his presence.

"It's good to see you" he said to make his presence known to her to which she raised her head and gave him a warm smile

"You're back, I've been wondering where you had disappeared off to since you weren't at your house this morning" Olivia told him

"You went by my house?" Ryan asked a bit surprised

" Yes, I wanted to check in on you. But the butler simply told me that he hadn't seen you since yesterday" Olivia answered

" Ooh yes, I decided to spend the night at one of the hotels in town. Sometimes being alone in that big house gets the better part of me and I feel so lonely " Ryan said

" But you have some staff around, how could you feel lonely? " She asked

" There's a difference of having people and having staff around. No matter how much you try to make them comfortable or have a conversation with them, they still fear me as their boss. It's a relief that they don't know I'm the owner of Global Tech, if they did, they'd start treating me like I'm some sort of idol" Ryan reasoned

" In that case, you should really look for someone to keep your bed warm and your social life social. You really ought to have a girlfriend to keep you busy and make you feel like a normal person " Olivia told him as she stood up letting him have a seat before she took another seat and brought it next to the table.

"We've already had this conversation before Olivia, we both know that if I was to even try dating, the moment most girls even have a small taste of my net worth they become like bees in a hive. They would do anything to make sure that they don't loose their ticket to great riches." Ryan said as they started going over the month's projections on sales and some upcoming dealerships. When he said this, Olivia hit him on the shoulder slightly

"Not all girls will do that, some of them will just want to date you for who you are, not what you're worth and own" she said

" I know, but finding such a girl is so hard nowadays. People always want to become rich but most of them don't know the insecurities that come with wealth. You always think that someone is after your money and you sometimes fail to notice the real ones from the crowds "Ryan said before going on," and besides, with my history when it comes to dating, I highly doubt if I'm ever going to date again "

" Come on now boss, don't be like that. I'm sure that one day you'll find someone who will love you for just who you are. You might be surprised at how easy it might be for you. Just look for the right signs and be sure to take things slow" Olivia said as they finished up on the charts that were on the table. In his office, Ryan had an elevator that was connected right to his doorstep and always beeped giving a three minute headstart before anyone reached that floor. So as they were speaking, Olivia and Ryan heard the elevator beep to which Ryan went and sat on one of the guest's seats and Olivia sat in the seat he was in as they awaited for whoever was coming. When the doors opened up, they saw that it was Christian who walked out. Ryan was a bit happy to see Christian since he needed someone who would take his mind off the things that he was juggling and overthinking about. They greeted each other with their unique handshake before Christian said hello to Olivia

"What's with the unexpected surprise?" Ryan asked

" Well I was just driving around town so I decided to check up on you" Christian answered

" What Ryan is trying to say by asking you that question is that he's glad you came around " Olivia said

" Is there anything wrong? " Christian asked as he directed the question to Olivia

"Yes, he really needs to get his mind off work and at least look for a girlfriend to keep him busy" Olivia answered

" No I do not" Ryan protested

"You know, I've always had a hunch that one day the two of you are going to hook up but that day never seems to come" Christian joked

" That's absurd " Ryan said

" What? The both of you would make a great couple. I mean, she knows you as much as I do so why not? " Christian asked

" This is why I don't like you around this office,let's go " Ryan said as he dragged Christian out of the office while Olivia was left laughing. When they got into the elevator, Ryan simply looked at him and kept quiet

"What?" Christian finally asked 

"Olivia? Really?" Ryan asked

"Like I said, she knows you better so who else can actually know what you really like and not do it just because you're rich" Christian answered

" It's not about me being rich " Ryan said

" It's always about you being rich. It's always about me being rich. We chose this life and made decisions that got us rich at a very young age. We knew that this would always be an insecurity when it would come to making friends and dating bit we did it anyway. I'll tell you for a fact, Olivia right there, she is one of the real ones" Christian told him

" There's no way that she has looked at me from a dating perspective " Ryan defended himself

" You are just saying that to convince yourself. But mark my words Ryan, one day you will come to realize that I was right all along " Christian said now in a serious tone
