like all good things last night had to end. it was the next morning, which meant it was time to finish this war with Dyan. I rolled over to find an empty bed and note.

I got up and took a quick shower, then threw on some sweats. Jane woke up fussy, so I changed and fed her and headed off to find her uncles. I looked in my brothers rooms and couldn't find any of them. surely they didn't all leave? Nonna would be furious. the smell of bacon coming upstairs let me know Jane and I weren't the only two still here and awake. I ran downstairs to find nonna and Alice cooking breakfast.
