Nathan's povWednesday 6th December 2019*************************************I'm worried about Marcus. He's so much worse than what I thought he would be. He came home from the hospital yesterday with painkillers and the doctors orders to take it easy. Damian is okay, or so he says he is. Marcus' pov Monday 9th December 2019**********************************I hate nightmares. Why can't I just sleep peacefully? I don't want to see images of Adrian abusing me every time I close my eyes. The couch is really uncomfortable so I'm angry the nightmares are ruining what little sleep I can get. Nathan always comes down when I'm having a nightmare, he said I scream in my sleep. Cole's pov Wednesday 18th December 2019***************************************"Marcus? Are you okay?" I ask into the phone but I can't hear anything. Please let him be okay! Marcus' pov Saturday 21st December 2019*************************************I'm finally going home today. The doctors are happy enough that I won't try to kill myself if I go home. Nathan and Cole won't leave me alone anymore anyways, so they don't have to worry. My hands are still shaking and I still can't pick up heavy things but the physiotherapist is happy with my exercises. I have to touch my thumb to each of my fingers but I find even that difficult. I know what I want my hands to do but they just don't listen fast enough or strong enough. I keep getting frustrated but Nathan or Cole would calm me down and manually move my fingers like Jamal said to do. I've been calling Damian every day after finding out I can't text because my thumbs move to slow. Marcus' pov Wednesday 25th December 2019****************************************It's finally Christmas morning and Cole is bouncing off the walls. I woke up with Nathan cuddling into my side and Cole jumping on the spot telling me it's Christmas. "Okay I'm up," I groan as I detach myself from a sleepy Nathan as he yawns. I look at the alarm clock and scowl when it says 5:30am. "Cole what the hell? It's way too early," Nathan says as he lays back down. "Come on it's Christmas! It doesn't matter how early we get up! You can have a nap after dinner," he says and I sigh, nudging Nathan and getting up. I walk to the attached bathroom and close the door as I have a piss. I can hear Nathan grumbling through the door as Cole annoys him. When I'm finished, I wash my hands and brush my teeth with the electric toothbrush Cole bought me when I found using a manual toothbrush too difficult. At least with with one I just have to hold it up and move it across my teeth and it does all the work.
