"ARE WE GOING BACK TO THE RESORT, MA’AM?" I asked the woman who was sitting in the back of the car again. She was sitting pretty there while looking out the window.

"No. Let's go to the town market first. I need to buy something there," Carmelita said without even looking at me.

Gosh, she thought I would buy it. If I know, she just wants to be with me for a longer time. Damn, you are so conceited, Fernando. Of course!
