Chapter Fourteen

Tala…

As she and Conri walked back in silence, she wrapped the blanket tighter around her. She felt self-conscious and she took a side glance at Conri. Tala could see the way he walked, he had authority, all the other wolves respected him. As they walked through the camp, Tala could feel a few eyes on her, but for some reason, it felt ok. She could not feel judgement or betrayal or anything that she was used to feeling back at her father’s camp. She knew then that this is where she wanted to be, in this pack, with this Alpha…

As they walked over the big lawn, Tala had a good look at the main pack house. It was huge, she has never seen a house this big. She stood still and just took everything in.

“Are you ok babes?” Conri asked as he stood next to her, and he possessively put his arm around her small waist.

“I have never seen anything so big, so beautiful. This whole place, it’s breath-taking.” Tala said softly as she looked around.

“I am very glad you like it. This will be your home
