Chapter 15: An Unexpected Side

A few seconds later, the lift came to a stop and in an instant, she was greeted by an unfamiliar air. The moment the elevators opened, her mouth was slightly flung open as they traversed the peculiar territory.

The theme of the place was something she didn’t expect. Rather, it was a complete contrast to the majority of the building design. Her vision was completely used to the glass windows and western feel that she was taken aback by the overpowering wooden structure and paperlike partitions. Intricately crafted stone-like lanterns were also dangling on the corners, unlike the preponderance of luxury chandeliers. 

The whole place screams….eastern.
