Chapter 39
Alyne looked left and right repeatedly, she was looking for Herrin. Walking on the 11th grade floor is not the right thing for a junior like her. But she was still determined to meet Herrin. Several male upperclassmen gave her flirtatious glances, but she ignored them and kept walking.
From the opposite direction appeared the person she had been looking for. She breathed a sigh of relief. That boy walked alone without Violet or his other friends accompanied.
Alyne slowed her steps when Herrin was about one meter in front of her.
"Herrin," Alyne called.
But, that boy only glanced at her for a minute and continued on his way.
Alyne turned her body and then exerted her strength to grab the arm of the boy who just passed her. But, just one second after that, she immediately let go of her hand when she got a sharp glare from Herrin. That boy walked back away from her.
