First messy day at work

Asher's POV:

Kai tied my hair in his firm grip as he pumped loads of thick, wet cum down my throat.

I struggled, desperately trying to pull back, but his hold was far stronger than I could break. My lips were sealed tight around the base of his thick cock, pressed against the light tendrils of hair that smelled of citrus and pine. My stomach churned violently as I swallowed every single drop, his veiny dick still pulsing on my tongue.

This may not have been the first time I’d sucked dick, but it had never felt this humiliating. Kneeling in front of him, trapped between his spread legs with his hand yanking my hair at will like a disobedient puppy, the message was painfully clear: he held all the power, and I was meant to cower. With my knees pressed against the cold marble floor of his expensive office, the line between slave and master had never been sharper.

He slowly pulled my head upward by the chin, forcing my eyes to meet his. They were filled with sadistic satisfaction — dark and dominating. His thumb brushed over my bruised lip in a slow, almost soothing motion.

“Welcome to my world, Bartholomew,” he said. His dark, growling voice sent shivers racing down my spine. My last name sounded like both a curse and a covenant on his tongue.

“Zip it up,” he commanded, gesturing toward his dick that lay semi-hard against his pants. My eyes followed. His cock looked permanently hard. “You made this mess. Fix it.”

Why the fuck is he being such a total bitch? Does he get some sick, sardonic pleasure from treating people like shit?

My hands moved reluctantly. I grabbed his cock firmly; it jolted under my touch. I was quick to tuck it back inside his pants, zipping up almost too fast because it threatened to harden again at the slightest contact. The wet, slimy taste of his cum still coated my tongue and throat.

“Get out.”

His voice suddenly transformed into a cold, sharp edge, as if my sheer presence irritated him now. Humiliation washed over me like a wave. He remained relaxed in his chair, back resting gracefully, eyes staring down at me with that pitying look. Fucking bastard. I couldn’t be more glad to leave. I stood up from between his spread legs and walked out.

I tried to clear the memory of him — and the image of myself kneeling, swallowing his load — as the elevator descended.

When I arrived at the staff unit, I was met by a bunch of mechanical faces that were supposed to be my coworkers. They were all dressed in the same suffocating black-and-white corporate uniformity, soulless and synchronized. I felt an immediate sting of embarrassment as their faces pinched at the sight of me. I was wearing only a plain black shirt and trousers. Subtle whispers spread through the room.

Who gives a fuck what they think? I told myself. But I did. I gave two fucks. I wrapped my palm around my wrist, arm crossing my body like I was trying to hide my nakedness.

“But he’s handsome… He’s so handsome,” I heard two girls squirm. I wondered if they knew I could hear them, or if they wanted me to.

I made my way to the spot that was supposed to be my work desk: a chair, a desktop, and a thick instruction manual outlining my full role and job description. I flipped through some pages… Apparently, I would rarely be here. Most of my job involved following Kai around like a stray puppy.

Stray puppy. The words itched at my brain.

“Hey.”

A high-pitched voice called from the other side of the table. I turned. A red-haired woman, beautiful, with a smile that could light up a dark room.

“Hey,” I responded.

“I’m Melissa. I work in the Emergency Control Unit.” Her high-pitched voice, though not loud, made my eardrums ring.

“I’m Asher, Kai’s…” Kai’s personal assistant. I completed the sentence in my head. I wondered what impression that would give her. If Kai could shove his dick down my throat the moment I arrived, maybe they all knew exactly who he was and what his “personal assistants” usually did.

“It’s nice to meet you, Asher,” she said with sheer excitement.

“Nice to meet you too.” I plugged in my earbuds, hoping she would take the hint and leave me alone. But her voice rang out again. “You can’t wear those here, or any earpiece.” She gestured toward the wall where a printed sign showed earpieces marked with a red X.

What kind of man sets lazy-ass rules like these? My brows twitched in frustration. I dropped my hands onto the desk, and that was when I accidentally pressed a button on a small remote control that wasn’t there when I first arrived.

Red lights flashed. A loud siren blared uncontrollably.

“Oh no, no, no!” Melissa panicked, her voice rising to cut through the noise. “This is all my fault. I left it on your desk.” She was breathing heavily, frantically pressing buttons at her station, but it was too late. The damage had escalated. Everyone in the office was on their heels — gathering files, stuffing documents, some already rushing for the exit. My heart pounded twice as fast. Fucking great. My first day and I’ve already screwed things up, like I always do. Fucking stupid Ash.

The sprinklers activated, showering flame retardant foam everywhere. Laptops and files were instantly soaked. Just when I thought things couldn’t get worse, they did. I imagined how many devices would be completely destroyed and how much it would all cost. Fear and frustration washed over me.

Well, I’m not in charge of the emergency department. If only that bitch had minded her fucking business and not tried to make small talk, this would be her fault. I tried to justify it. But I was the one who pressed the button. Unconsciously. Unintentionally. Still, that didn’t matter. What mattered was the verdict of that big-egoed bastard.

I glanced at Melissa. She was crying, sobbing heavily like she had just received a death sentence. I rolled my eyes. Ain’t no way you’re doing this right now.

But when Kai walked into the staff unit — soaked, eyes flaming with rage — I suddenly understood her fear. He was so intense I felt the urgent need to use the toilet.

Everyone quickly lined up in front of him, heads bowed, facing the floor and shaking. I followed suit, falling in line like the rest.

“Well? Explain,” Kai demanded.

People exchanged nervous glances. Whispers flew. “That wasn’t from my end…” “I don’t even work in emergency…” Every quiet second stretched into a suffocating eternity. For some odd reason, Melissa stood closest to him. For someone tied to this mess, it was either very brave or her way of submitting without words.

Kai suddenly grabbed her by the neck, yanking her up to his face. Her feet nearly left the floor. She pleaded and cried.

“How did this happen?” His voice was dangerous, eyes thick with rage. I feared he would snap her throat right there. My blood ran cold. What the fuck is wrong with him? That’s no way to treat a person — a woman. But manners were slaves to Kai, and in his world, his actions were always right. I couldn’t just stand by. The guilt pierced like daggers as I watched her writhe.

“She didn’t do it,” my mouth spoke before my brain could fully decide.

The room went deathly still and silent. Every head turned toward me, eyes wide as if I had grown a second head.

“She didn’t do it. I did.” My voice came out steadier this time.

Kai dropped Melissa. She hit the floor with a heavy thud, coughing and choking. My eyes stayed locked on his.

I didn’t know what my fate would be now, but unlike Melissa, I knew he couldn’t just fire me. I had signed a long-term contract. He would be the one to lose if he tried. Still, I had no idea what he would do instead. Punch me until I bled? Make me pay for all the damages? I wasn’t in a hurry to find out.

Kai’s eyes sharpened, his voice slicing through the tension.

“Come with me.”

*****************Matheo’s POV************************Matheo Voss swirled the deep red wine in his crystal glass, the liquid catching the pale winter light like fresh blood. He stood on the wide balcony overlooking the family estate’s vast green fields, where purebred horses moved gracefully through the light snowfall. The contrast was beautiful — vibrant life against the quiet descent of white. He found it fitting.Soft footsteps approached. His mother came to stand beside him, regal as ever. Her dark hair was pinned up in intricate patterns that spoke of old money and older power. A lit cigar rested between her elegant fingers, the smoke curling lazily into the cold air as she watched the horses.“Maybe this will be the final straw,” she said quietly, voice smooth as silk. “The one that finally pulls your father from his madness.”Matheo let her words settle over him. He took a slow sip of wine, the rich taste blooming on his tongue. Smoke from her cigar drifted across his vision li

******************Ashers Pov**************************“What’s that?”Kai’s voice was low, his eyes locked on the folded check still clutched in my fingers. My hands went rigid, cold as ice. The paper suddenly felt like it was burning me. Should I tell him? Matheo’s face flashed in my mind — that calculated smile, the casual wink. Do I even owe Kai an explanation? I wasn’t sure. But fear still coiled tight in my stomach at the thought of his reaction.I swallowed hard, the lump in my throat threatening to choke me.“I—”GAAW!!!The gunshot cracked through the air like thunder. Birds exploded from the trees in a chaotic frenzy of flapping wings and panicked cries. People screamed. Cars slammed on brakes. My heart stopped. The door had barely clicked shut behind Asher when Luka sauntered in like he still had every right to be here.I saw red instantly.“I see you’ve gotten yourself a new pet,” Luka purred, his eyes flicking toward the door Asher had just disappeared through. “He’s quite a pretty one, I must say. When does he bore you?”My jaw ticked so hard I thought it might crack. The memory of Asher on his knees for me just minutes ago — the way he had looked at me with those wounded eyes — burned behind my eyelids.“What the fuck are you doing here, Luka?”“Oh, me?” He smiled that same maddening smile and began circling me slowly, like a predator who knew he was safe. His fingers brushed my chest, trailing down my arm in a way that used to set me on fire. Now it only made my skin crawl. “Just an old friend paying you a visit. Swear you didn’t miss me, Kai?”I stayed stiff, every muscle locked tight, boiling with rage I could barely contain.“We were perfect together,” Luka whispered, leaning in clos

I had barely taken three steps into the hallway when the voice stopped me cold.“Hey babe… missed me?”The words wrapped around my chest like a hand squeezing too tight. I knew that voice. I had heard it once before — that same mocking, honeyed tone on the sidewalk weeks ago. The blonde. Kai’s ex. The one Kai had dismissed so easily. “Don’t worry about him. He’s nothing.”Funny how those words kept echoing.I froze mid-step, one hand still lightly touching the doorframe. My lips felt swollen. My knees ached from the hardwood. I could still taste Kai on my tongue, thick and bitter-sweet. The warmth of what I had just done for him was still flushing my cheeks, but it curdled fast under the weight of that casual endearment.Hey babe. Not to me. Never to me.I turned my head slowly. There he was — Luka — leaning against the wall like he owned the hallway, long blonde hair loose over one shoulder, that pitying smile playing on his lips. His eyes dragged over me, taking in the snowman shirt

The death of Jobes Baker had detonated across every platform by sunrise. International news outlets ran it as the lead story. Blogs, podcasts, cable channels, and social media feeds all circled the same damning detail: Baker had last been seen entering the Voss-owned headquarters in New York. The very building where I had sat across from him in my office only days earlier. The timing was surgical. Someone inside the family—or close enough to pull strings—had orchestrated this perfectly. My name wasn’t printed in bold yet, but the implication hung over every broadcast like a blade. Voss heir questioned in connection with suspicious death. They didn’t need proof. They only needed the narrative to sell.By mid-morning the street below the penthouse had become a media siege. Dozens of reporters, camera crews, and photographers pressed against the barriers, microphones raised like weapons. They shouted questions at every shadow that passed a window, desperate to be the first to capture a r

******************KAI'S POV***************************The news arrived while I was still punishing the heavy bag in the gym, sweat stinging my eyes. Mr. Jobes Baker was dead. Natural causes, the lawyer’s email stated. Heart failure. Fifty-four years old.I let the bag swing back and slammed my fist into it one final time, knuckles splitting against the leather. We both knew what natural causes meant in our world. Baker had pushed too deep into the blood mines contracts, the offshore shells, the quiet rivers of money that kept the Voss empire breathing. I had warned him myself. Clearly someone else had grown tired of warnings.By evening the city lights glittered coldly beneath the cliffs as I stepped into the Villa. The grand dining hall smelled of roasted lamb, aged wine, and butter. Glasses clinked. Voices rose in easy laughter. And there, at the center of it all, stood Matheo, lifting his drink toward the doorway the moment I appeared.“To Kai,” Matheo announced, his voice smooth
