Sophia’s pov

“Let’s just hang out,” I said with a sigh, leaning back into my seat. “Why are you making a big fuss about this?”

I knew she was still in shock by my actions, it wasn’t a surprise to me,

“You call me in the night out of the blues to hang out, and it’s not something that you usually do. So forgive me if I decide that maybe you have a brain tumor or something.”

“This is stupid. I just wanted to hang out. Is this how a friend would talk to a friend?”

She started to laugh loudly over the phone.

“How a friend would talk to a friend? That’s how you’re putting this whole thing? Sophia, listen to yourself. All you’ve done has been to push me aside. Treat me like shit. Suddenly you want us to be friends? I’m done with that kind of friendship. If this is how you want to define friendship, I’m done. I don’t want any of it. You can take all the money you have and move aside.”
