I woke up with a slight headache and a heavy body draped over me—Alex. He slept peacefully, half of his naked body sprawled across mine, his head resting on my chest.

I tried to move him carefully, but he stirred and woke instead.

“Where are you going?” he asked, his voice thick with sleep.

“To the bathroom. You want to join me?”
