Unfathomable

Ericka kept blinking her eyes at the unfathomable thing that had just happened. Her heart was still racing like crazy and at any minute, she felt like it would leap away from her heart and she'd die from this forsaken happiness. 

"Why does it seem like you couldn't believe that the two of us just got married?" a voice asked her from behind. He let out a chuckle and it was like music to her ears. 

This was the first time in a long time she enjoyed hearing his voice ringing through the four corners of the room. 

In one instance, it was like they were the only people in the place while their hearts were in sync and she could feel his breath against his lips.

"Isn't this what you wanted?" Ericka was pulled back from reverie as the man continued to speak. She then turned to look at him abd then quickly, her brows furrowed.
