James words kept resounding in his ears as he drove. "Can you really protect anyone Arthur?"

His grip tightened on the steering wheel until he couldn't bear it anymore. "Can you really protect anyone Arthur?" James words kept on living rent free in his head tormenting him in ways he never knew.

Arthur angrily halted the car, got out and slammed the door hard.

His breathing became heavy. "I can protect my own people, not just her." He yelled into the empty space.

James had just questioned his ability to protect Bella but he couldn't answer because he feared she could be another Amanda he would fail to protect.

"Fuck it." He cursed under his breath.

He brought out his phone from his breast pocket and dialed a number. "I want the interview done today." He ended it without waiting for any reply.

Not forgetting her sunshade to shield her eyes from curious glares.
