Bella was lost in thoughts about what to do with the pregnancy when she heard a soft but persistent knock on the door.

She wasn't expecting anyone, besides it was already late but at the thought of James, she quickly ran and opened the door without asking who it was.

Her reaction was emotionless but she could swear her heart had beaten a thousand times in a spilt second while looking at the figure in front of her.
