Her laughter snapped me out of my thoughts.

"So you think that even though X amount of time has passed, the fact that I'm still hurting is insignificant?" her voice crack. I shook my head slightly, tried to reach out to hug her, but she pulled away before I could even touch her, "You know what? You're right, I should start trusting the people around me, but believe me I didn't underestimate you at all, you're exactly as I thought, an arrogant, an idiot, a stupid jerk who doesn't care how others feel. It's none of your business whether or not I'm still over that fucker who hurt me, like you care! Mind your own business," she sounded so annoyed that people just stared at us.

Now Minerva had misinterpreted my words, well, maybe I had exaggerated a bit, but hell, I was annoyed, okay?
