Chapter Thirty-one: Bewitched

Two weeks later, Nanna announced her intention of returning back to Spain, where she lived with her son and his family, much to the displeasure of everyone in the mansion, especially Angelina and Isabella who had gotten quite used to having the elderly lady around.

However, before her departure, Angelina decided to throw a going-away party for her but the elder woman declined, claiming that she was too old for partying. Instead, she opted for a family outing with everyone, Maxwell inclusive.

As such, he had to cancel all his meetings for that particular day at the office and let Mr. Kent at the helm of affairs for the day. He dressed casually in his chinos pants which he paired with a sky blue shirt. The sleeves of the shirt were rolled up to his elbows, exposing his ripped, sinewy muscles and the top two buttons left undone. With his signature Rolex wrist-watch, a pair of sneakers and his Ray-Ban hiding those gorgeous steely grey eyes, he was ready to go.
