DANIEL'S POV.

I didn't understand why I still left the offer open for Jessica even after what I found out yesterday, and Schumann felt the same.

"And then she said yes?" Schumann questioned for the third time now. "I'm not trying to be a hater but don't you think that girl is suspicious?"

"No, I don't think so," Clara shook her head, with her red painted lips still still on the straw in her grape juice. Disgusting. "I spent some time chatting with her that day she came for the interview and she seemed very nice. I think she just got into the wrong hands because of poverty."

We all decided to meet up to discuss on the Jessica issue and found this cocktail shop called, Fruitina. So here we all are, discussing the qualities of my future contract wife, Jessica Cooper. It's shocking right? You probably gasped, but Jessica had accepted my proposal on the first offer yesterday. It was like she'd gotten tired of fighting off whatever kept her from accepting it, and just decided to go for it.
