Chapter Nine

Hmmm, what to wear on a date at a penthouse, Jerrica thought to herself. This lovely beige dress with strappy heels will work. She assessed her image in the mirror and was pleased with the result. She finished up her hair and makeup and called Joshua. He arrived promptly at 6:30 and made his way through traffic to Jareth’s building. He assisted her out  of the car and walked her to the door. “Thank you, Joshua, I’ll call you when I need you,” she said. “Have a good evening, Miss Betton,” he replied. The doorman tipped his hat to her as she entered.
