Oliver’s heart was pounding so fast it soon became deafening to his ears.

He couldn’t believe it. He didn’t want to.

Claire wasn’t the type to sneak around and scheme. She was an honest person who went for what she wanted regardless of the consequences.

As a CEO, Oliver kept a lot of sensitive information on his computer such as trade secrets, formulas for the company's products and other confidential files that if let out in the open could potentially harm the company.

He never let anyone close to him because of this matter. Apart from his two friends and family, Claire was the only woman to set foot into his penthouse.

This was because he trusted her with everything in him. Heck, all his gadget’s passwords were her birthday. If he wanted to hide things from her, he would use another password. Nevertheless, he didn’t think she would steal the information rather than openly check it with his knowledge.

If she needed information that was crucial for her case, Oliver would have le
