Chapter 23~ A date

Claire breathed out in relief when she glanced at the tablet and saw that the call did not connect. Somehow, Thalia had found Oliver's profile on m*ssenger and was trying to video call him.

Luckily, the WIFI on the tablet was switched off so the call couldn't connect.

"Tee, sweetheart, how did you find this profile?" Claire asked her daughter, her heart was still in her throat from fear that Oliver had heard about their plans for revenge.

"I asked Aunt Quinn and she helped me search for him," Thalia answered, her large eyes blinking innocently. "I wanted to ask him when he's going to agree to be my Daddy."

Claire's heart skipped a beat. She threw a glance at her mother and then chuckled awkwardly. She crouched down and held Thalia, saying, "I'll find you a very good Daddy. Now be a good girl and go back to bed. It's Sunday, you can sleep in before you start school tomorrow."
