Chapter 95~ Tagging along

“I’m sorry you had to come all the way here, Wesley. I can’t go out with you,” Claire rejected outright and cut the call.

She didn't want to give him any more hope. The two of them could never work and Claire only saw him as a friend. It would be troublesome if she kept meeting him alone.

Her phone suddenly chimed, signalling that she had received a message.

“Just a friend of mine,” Claire answered. She then smiled at her daughter and stated, “How about I make you a delicious breakfast?”
