Chapter 94~ A lie

When Claire went home, she had red and puffy eyes. She glanced at her mother and asked, “Mom, was it Dad who told you he was innocent? Did you not go through his case?”

Katherine Scott scoffed. She glanced at her daughter and spat, “Are you suspecting your parents of being liars?”

“No, that’s not what I’m doing. I’ve been investigating the case and what I’ve found is not only shocking but it shows that Dad was the culprit all along and yet you made me believe it was Oliver’s father!” Claire yelled, unable to stop herself from losing her cool.
